Hey guys! I was approved for citizenship! The officer who conducted the interview with me started from civic questions, they were the easiest ones like what is an amendment, where the statue of liberty is, when constitution was written. Then she asked me to read one sentence and write one on ipad. The only hardest moment I had was i changed a multiple numbers of  addresses and she walked through them, unfortunately I didn't remember the dates i moved in/out. Otherwise everything was easy, i wasted time on stressing myself out. Oath ceremony notification will take up to 30 days, hopefully physically i can attend soon. Good Luck everyone!

Hi everyone ! Im just did my test today at ATL office and passed 🤩. I went in and checked in with the receptionist just 2mins earlier ( on the letter they said you can get in 30mins early) im 32 mins early 😅 and she said she couldn't check me in after 2mins Lol. After checked in I went to the fingerprints and photo then I went up to the 2nd floor where I had to waited about 45mins and IO called my number. Everything took fast for me ( 15 mins ) and he was nice .He asked me 6 questions which I corrected all and reading writing test too.

What are two Cabinet-level positions?

Why did the colonists fight the British?

When was the Constitution written?

What did Martin Luther King, Jr. do?
What is the highest court in the United States?

Who sign bills to become law?

Read : Which state has the most people?

Write : California has the most people.

He ask all my information and how many trips I took in the last 5 years. He asked for about my spouse information when we married and where we met?
Yes No questions he asked me very fast and didn't ask me to explain the specifics words in there😛. But just have 1 thing when he asked me "Have you ever not filed taxes ? And the next one is " Do you file taxes every year ?" so you have to pay attention and listen what they ask you.
Hopefully I can take my Oath before Christmas 🤩. Good luck everyone ! Last journey!

My passport arrived today :)

It took 5 weeks (I did a routine service).

Just wanted to let you know that there is always a possibility  to expedite the process in case of unexpected/emergency trip, even after you applied.

I also applied for the Passport card. Should arrive separately, soon :)

Happy Veteran's Day and Good luck to everyone!!!!

So you say you received your passport within 5 weeks with no expedition? I wonder how much it'll take if I pay expedited price. I would like to buy tickets ASAP. So impatient! :P

You can find all fees here. As well as how long an expedited service would take.

Had our interview last Friday. We had been scheduled for Aug 27th. They canceled it because our complete file was not there yet. We had a I-751 pending so they were waiting on that. We had to wait 5 weeks for it to be rescheduled and it was for Nov 8th 740 am. It wasn't fun getting our 2 year old up at 6am to get there in time with morning traffic and then entertain him for the 1 hour we waited to get called back and then keep him occupied in the small office while we had both interviews. I (the spouse) was present for the whole thing. It was very quick and easy and the officer didn't ask questions like others I heard of asking for the I-751- like details of how we met and preferences of the other spouse. I guess having our child with us green-lights mush of the process. She wanted to see our tax transcripts. I brought the returns but the transcripts had gotten lost in the months of waiting and rearranging the house. But she didn't make a big deal of it. She also asked for my (US Citizen) birth certificate twice.  I told her I brought my passport. I didn't want to search for the birth certificate. She enjoyed our little boy even though he was cranky. He is a cherub with big blue eyes and curly dark blonde hair and smiles at everyone. I think it gave us an unfair advantage. lol. Now waiting for the ceremony to be scheduled which she said would happen within 3 weeks. Long road but I think we sped it up applying for the N400 while the I-751 was still pending since they are required to interview everyone now.

Oath was done today in San Antonio, TX at the institute of Texan cultures at 2pm. Letter said be there at one, we got there at 1130am. They sat my wife at around 1230 and she started filling out the paperwork. Waited and about 130 the Army band played a few selections until 2. Color guard posted the colors, judge came out and swore everyone in. A video of JFK inauguration speech and a music video of proud to be an American. Start to finish it took about 30 minutes. Easier than I thought it would be, but we are done with USCIS thank goodness.
