Hello everybody

I am a N400 may filler.  I am still waiting for my 10 years green card and today i received an appointment for my I-751.  i am just wondering if is a combo interview because the reason for appointment is " Review  and completion of your Form I-751..." did not say anything about my N400.

Somebody else is in the same situation?

Hi did your N-400 ever change to interview scheduled? I’m asking because my I-751 says, “case was received at my local office” but no update on the N-400.

My I-751 said transfered to local office about 6 days prior to my interview being scheduled but I think that largely depends on how busy your local office is. However, it is a normal progression.

Thank you 😊. What is your local office? Did you get a letter for the I-751 after that update?

Tampa, FL. I only received a letter saying the I-751 was transferred to another office from the National Benefits Center. Then I received the letter saying our N-400 interview was scheduled. Nothing else on either case since but as I verified our I-751 is at the Tampa office, I'm 100% certain the interview will be a combo so I'm going with my husband.

how did you verify your I751 at your local office? did you have to call them?

After receiving the interview scheduled notice, I sent an email on my USCIS account asking if they were going to conduct a combo interview because I didn't want to waste anyone's time.. They sent me a response saying my I-751 file was under the jurisdiction of the Tampa office and they forwarded my query to them.

you get better luck than i do, I did the same, sent the email asking about I-751. they said they didn't have jurisdiction or something similar as it was paper filed.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update but I did my interview as scheduled on 8/8/19 and passed it. I was initially scheduled to do my oath on 8/15 but I couldn't make it because of preplanned travels so the USCIS officer moved it to the next available date for oath which is 9/5. The interview process went smoothly we only went over the yes/no questions on the application part making sure everything is correct, we then proceeded with the reading, writing and civics test. I can't remember the specific questions asked but they sure are in the study guide. They won't trick you. Haha. The whole process only took about 30 mins so no sweat. I'm almost done with my naturalization journey. Good luck to everyone!
