Good luck to you Luke. I'm hoping to be out there (NJ) in July.

What baby steps have you already taken towards AOS? I figured i might as well do the same to keep the ball rolling...

Thank you!  I'm sure July will be here before you know it!

I've played about with filling the forms out and seeing what's needed. Got some check lists from friends on here and index sheets etc. Always good to roughly know what's needed before printing them off and being overwhelmed :)

I'll be back for sure before filing that, just after I arrive (Saturday) I may not be quite as active for a week or two.

Can I just say you have been amazing yourself. 🥇🏆🎖

You ask intelligent questions. You follow through and research if provided links. And you respond to questions with specific details when you have personal experiences to offer. You are eager to learn rather than wanting to be spoon fed. I applaud you.

It's been a help to myself having someone very local to my current home to speak about it all!

That's the main bit of it! We can sit there and bang our own heads off the wall!  You've been a great help all along the way, not only this process but also little quirks of life over there! :D

Well thank you very much for those kind words! You've been an amazing help from the very first stupid questions I've asked and many of the others inbetween! :D

Hear, hear!

You've definitely helped make this forum an interesting and informative place @LukeU, so I’ll miss seeing your posts - but I’m also super happy that your K1 days are nearly over!

LAST THURSDAY AS A UK CITIZEN (yes, I’m not growing tired of that 😆😆 - only time for two more before you’re gone)!!!

I'm keeping that citizenship! If you ever think I'm walking through the other line when I come back to visit, you are sadly mistaken....as I'm sure Courtney will be too when she's stuck waiting in line like the "others" ;)

Last Thursday, and also the last night at the place I've called home for a long, long time!

I'll probably be back come early/mid next week. K1, AOS, ROC complete or not, I'll always swing by the UK forums I'm sure! It's just as I get there and get unpacked and celebrate etc (and the subsequent recovery required after said celebrations) then I'll crawl back online I'm sure :D

Courtney can go through the line with you, at least that's what we do at Heathrow. They told us to.

Enjoy the adventure that awaits. Remind me of the wedding date/plans. We're going to have a wedding 🎩 party 🎉 in the UK FORUM that day.

Oh that's great to hear! Does that work for me also as I return to the US after our first trip next year?

The wedding is the 22nd June 7:30PM (Vegas time), 03:30 UK time (23rd June)!  I'll be sure to come and join in the following day or so back here and see what everyone is up to!
