...FYI...

based on the question that i asked on VJ afew days ago, i asked MTL about expiration of Police Certificates (PC) today during my call to ask for an interview date.

their response on PC expirations...

"PCs are good for 12 months from the date of issue. Regardless of the country it was issued from"

again, nothing much, i just wanted to have this info on VJ so that others who might have the same Q, if any, know of this.

i had one done in november 2006, and my interview was april 5th, 2007, and i went to the royal canadian mounted police and the lady said good thing i came, it has expired. i was like #######? the new one she gave me looked different and even had a picture of me on there (that she took with a special camera). i was confused, but i just wanted to double check. plus, i wanted to show a veeeery recent police certificate, that i had nothing to hide
