You need to interview in a country where you are a legal resident ( like temporary resident or permanent resident or an equivalent legal status to work).   Tourist Visas are not residency visas.

Thank you so much,  much much appreciated  your reply, i wish i could buy you some chocolates.

guys so what is your suggestions should i go back to my home country...

You will need to return to your home country.  And since you have exceeded 180 days in Dubai you will probably need a police clearance certificate from there since you have been acting like you are a resident.

You will be needing police clearance certificates for each country that you lived in for 6 months (in total) since age 16.  You will need it for the interview.

You should see what it would take obtain legal residency in Dubai as you can expect extreme vetting, known as a DS-5535, due to you country/ region of origin.

Ok this is a worrying statement... makes me think you haven’t looked up the documents you need for an immigrant visa. Look at this page, and look at (expand) all the subsections and links.

i can easily get police certificate of my origin from home country, they only problem would be obtaining police certificate from dubai where i live now on a tourist visa, and the DS- 5535 got me worried i didn't know about this one,  i checked the website of travel.states.gov and its says i need a police certificate if i lived in another country for 12 months or more but i have lived in dubai for 6 months now what if i go back to my home country in a week i am not sure i will be needing one, but again its better to look into it , once again thanks alot for helping me .

You have to be interviews in a country of residence. Can be country of citizenship, or if you were in a third country with say a work visa or permanent residency. Tourist visas don't count as that. They are for tourism, not to live.
