the only one that's any good so far has been the Port Huron Tim's by the bridge.......I think the coffee always tastes burnt.......probably sits around all day

Heading to RI on Thurs June 21 and thanks to mapquest.com have Tim Hortons in sight!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Now, why isn't there a Tims near Philly? :(

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

Removal of conditions @ VSC

I actually sent an email to Tim Hortons Corporate Head Office suggesting a Tim Horton's for Liberal, KS, at the junction of US 54 and US 83....

Needless to say, I got the standard canned response... "Thank you for your email, your email has been forwarded to the appropriate...."

Oh, well... :( I didn't expect much in a response anyways.

June 3 - Mailed N-400, Application for Naturalization.

June 8 - Received email with Receipt Number.

June 11 - Biometrics appointment letter mailed out (June 30 at 1PM)

June 30 - Biometrics.

There's one in Clinton Township - don't remember the name of the road but it is the Main street that goes through Mount Clemens (but south of Mount Clemens).

Oh - and congratulations on the baby!

You know I still can't figure out what people see in Tim Hortons at all. Maybe since I'm not a coffee drinker (though I have drank it before from Tim Hortons and others) and well it all pretty much tastes the same wherever I had it. And the donuts, well, taste the same as anywhere else too.

So what do they do add crack or something to their coffee ha ha. It's like an addiction with Canadians I think. My cousins are addicted too and when visiting them and going on a road trip, it's like they have to stop at everyone they see. I usually opt to staying in the car or maybe have a donut at every 20 of them...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

Not true; I've seen several unfranchised coffee (including "fancy" such as espresso, capuccino, etc) which prepare coffee quite well (unlike Charbucks).

Also, for making coffee at home, it makes considerable difference (if you use the Safeway brand "Edwards", then you will wreck the coffee beyond even Charbucks)

Now, why isn't there a Tims near Philly? :(

I emailed and said they should serve Tim's products at Wendy's for branding purposes. I said my location and the reply said, :thanks for your suggestion of Media, PA. That would be cool because that Wendy's is a 10 minute walk. :)

I've been to the one in Parkersburg WV (thank you becca!) and it is just as good as any I've been to.
Which makes me hanker to move back to Atlanta area--as I would from there be passing through Parkersburg every August to go to Sebring, OH.
