Mine is incorrect year of birth. I did inform ASC and at the interview to the IO to correct it.

It is good news because it means they're almost done with the case, so yes. Do you know what they are asking for - I assume the card?

Postal deliveries for me have been slow in general. Could be a general postal related delay. Do you have Informed Delivery?

I do have Informed Delivery and check it everyday.

I think USCIS mail in general is just very slow right now due to the virus situation. Give it another week maybe, then call to inquire if still nothing after that.

Hello. Looks like I will have to submit my original Permanent Resident card along with other document(s) proving my year of birth.

 

Should I be submitting a copy of my Birth Certificate only (That is what I did initially and no other proof) or other documents like my Date of Birth of in my Passport bio page or my I-94 card which has my Date of Birth as well which was also listed in the RFIE?

 

The mailing address listed on the form is different then what is on the USCIS page for I-90. Which address should I be submitting to and what kind of delivery? USPS? FedEx? Buy insurance? etc.

 

I also initially submitted my evidence explanation with my signature. Should I also re-submit that? There is an option to submit this online but in my case they want the original PR card. Any advice? Do everything through the mail?

I think it doesn't hurt to submit all of those. If you already submitted your birth certificate, it seems odd why they would want more proof.

 

I don't think it is necessary to submit an explanation again. What does the RFE say exactly? Do they want you to physically mail it or does it give you the option to upload it online instead?

Maybe it’s their standard process to send these additional evidence out. They want me to mail the original. Photocopies aren’t accepted.

Thanks for uploading the RFE.

 

They want the original green card, not the original birth certificate. It says you can send a copy of the birth certificate. It looks like they are also specifically asking for the explanation of the error, so I would definitely send that again since they are asking for it here. Make sure you include translations as well.
