I got pink letter. Seems RFE, never got one before.

It says:

The sponsor or joint sponsor (if required) on Forms I-864 Affidavit of Support must submit the following:

W-2s, 1099s, and/or all schedules submitted to the Internal Service (IRS) - a copy of his/her Federal income tax return was submitted and/or the sponsor requested an extension to file his or her Federal income tax return.

And by the way, We have to send this to Missouri.

We sent all w-2s and 1099s, and in taxes we sent there was schedule c. Do we miss something or they lost something or what?

Any comments, advices?

Thank you!

This seems to be a -very- common RFE.

Initial processing is done at the National Benefits Center which is in Missouri.

Anyways, I would check over your taxes and make sure you didn't have any other miscellaneous income. Interest from checking/savings accounts, certificates of deposit, other accounts at bank institutions that you might have had 1099s for.

Otherwise, if you didn't miss anything, I just suggest re-sending what you've already sent in. It's possible they might have misplaced something.

P.S. You might want to drop a post in the 'May Filers' thread, since your NOA1 date is in may. It might help you keep track of other people in your situation.

We did sent in all this. But he is self employed so there is 1099 for only very short time. And we sent all copies of w-2s too.

I am starting to think that in first time he sent in retirement account savings in founds, what is very small money, like 3000 I think. But its not taxed, and there is not form on them. Could it be that they compare what you sent for i-129 with this time? Or maybe they just missed something and we should send all the same stuff. And what are these schedules.

Yes we did include. We include everything we got back from accountant who did taxes.

And by the way, this time nothing happened in my online online account. There is no updates on my case, and no touched. But probably it doesn't matters.

Yes we did include. We include everything we got back from accountant who did taxes.

Send the I-864 again along with the supporting evidence, perhaps get a tax transcript and attach that too.

Sometimes something gets misplaced.

MSC was our service center too, we filed out of California,

Most AOS cases are sent to MSC for initial processing then forwarded to your Local DO District Office.

All of our notices (NOA's) came from Missouri Service Center

Yeah, but we still dont understand what they want us to send in. I don't understand what was the problem to say in simply way what is missing, and why to make things so difficult. Obviously we will better make appointment at homeland security office and ask them to be safe.

ieva & carl,

Not so obvious. Your local USCIS District or Sub office does not have your case file, they are not going to know exactly what the case officer processing the application wants.

YuAndDan gave you the best suggestion - re-send the 2006 income tax return, all of it, including all forms and attachments, or better yet send an IRS tax transcript if you can get one quickly enough to meet the RFE deadline.

Did you use a Joint Sponsor?

Yodrak

No, we didn't had joint sponsor, and this doesn't seems case about not enough money. We are willing to send whatever they want if we would know what to send. All I can think of is that something is lost, :( because it was all nice sorted and together, and all tax return forms and all 1099 and w-2 for 2004, 2005 and 2006.

I wear the USC pants in this relationship and we sent in all of the required info with the AOS application, received a RFE requesting tax information, and we sent them all of the same info we sent in with the initial application...a few weeks later my husband received his greencard. We have no idea why or anything. Sometimes it's just a mystery why you get these things.

HMmmm. Maybe they just do some random games, to see if numbers what we send again matches with the first ones.

I think we will send all the same papers we sent already, what else to do.
