How to demonstrate bonafide Fiancee relationship?

I cam across one of Yodrak's posts in another thread, which I have excerpted below:

Pictures of a wedding ceremony prove that a marriage exists (already proved by the marriage certificate), they do not prove that the marriage is bonafide.

Nor do phone calls prove that a marriage is bonafide - they only show that someone may be willing to talk a lot if it will help get them into the USA.

Yodrak makes a good point which I really didn't think about before. So now I am getting a bit worried to make sure we can demonstrate to the foreign embassy that we do indeed have a bona fide K-1 relationship.

I already have pictures, phone calls, emails, text messages, receipts of gifts exchanged; but we can't plan any wedding dates until her visa is approved; so what can I show? A list of wedding venues we have selected so far? Pictures of the wedding type preparations such as wedding dresses, etc?

What do you guys think? Maybe I am getting too worried? I am very early in the process (don't even have a NOA2 yet) so if there is anything we can do that will make it easier for the foreign embassy to determine our relationship is bona fide; I want to make sure we do it.

I think with everything you mentioned you already have, you will be fine.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

bszoom,

The bottome line is that you and your fiancee need to appear to be a genuine couple. The decision on the visa is going to depend very heavily on the interview and the feeling that the consular officer gets from talking with the visa applicant. The evidence that people submit is documentation for the file, not the determining factor except to the extent that when the paper evidence does not seem to be consistent with the person that the consular officer sees standing before them the decision may well be a negative decision.

Do you have any pictures with other couples or major landmark?

I submitted numberous pictures of us in public places hugging and holding hands. At the airport, tourist sites they should reconize, resturant, all in plain view with other people in the back ground. I suspose if all they got were pictures of two people in an isolated place may be graded differently than say holding her hands at the airport.

Pictures with her family and friends. My biggest proof is a picture of her grandma in tears on our engagement ceromony. Even a lover's qureal between emails. hahaha.. These could be used but the most important thing is during the interview.

Meaning, look at the CO straight in the eyes, be asurtive, smile, etc etc etc. Don't appear nervous. These are more important IMO. I mean, if the relationship is genuine their body launage will show it wheather it's in pictures or during an interview.

@ Jomo's girl - Thanks!

@ Yodrak - Thanks for the info!

@ Lace - Yeah, we have tons of photos. Photos of us and the families eating dinner; the whole engagement party was videotaped; we even have an engagement album made, that we sent to all the relatives that attended. We also have a lot of photos in public places, and with people other than family members. And I will be visiting her again either in September or October (depending on when I can get vacation time approved) and I will be sure to get even more taken then.
