That's the current version of the I-131, so unless you don't want to apply for AP (which isn't a good idea, since it doesn't cost anything extra and who knows what could happen before you get your green card) you need it.

None of the other AOS forms have a barcode in their current version.

Mine never printed with the barcode, but I am hand writing my forms, I am not sure if it's okay.

I've found this as well https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-updates/uscis-2d-barcode-requirements

The link stated that USCIS will process forms with and without the barcode. So you should be fine. I found that it was internet browser dependant as they state
