Does anybody know how long medicals will expire. My fiancee did her medicals  and police report 3 months prior to her KI visa interview (interview in july). Would she have to repeat them because it is too far out?

6 mos and the Visa expiration will be tied to the medical expiration

she has not gone for her interview yet though. So does your response implies that they will accept the medicals and police reports on interview day. thanks

As long as it is valid but understand that the she must enter the USA within 6 mos. of the medical

My situation.

Medical was December 5

Interview February 19

Visa expiration was June 5 (6 mos. after medical,  not 6 mos after Visa issuance)

YMMV

Hi.  I don't know which country you are referring to, but as far as the police certificate goes, many expire within 3 months.  My fiance ended up getting another, more recent police certificate because it took a little longer to get the interview date he wanted.  The one he originally had gotten expired in 3 months.  Good luck.

Negative ghost rider.  Our NBI was 11 months old.  Manila website specifically says 12 mos for NBI

Well Speed Ball Tucker that may have been partially true for you. Yes the clearance itself from NBI is 12 months but USEM can be and has been particular in the past requiring some to receive a 221(g) for a more current NBI. If it were me, mine wouldn't be older then 6 months to avoid any problems based on history.

NOt partially true.  Absolutely true.  I'd love to see those 221g as my suspicion is that there is more to the story
