Hmm, the one we have was issued by the hospital he was born at and has the hospitals signatures, midwife, BA seal, etc. Yours is the same?

I hate that things you submit at the embassy stage are approved and then you get to USCIS and there’s a problem or vice versa. Same happened for us with his divorce papers. 😫

I hope it works out!

No, I don’t think we have that, now I am so confused. VJ just keeps confusing us more.

@andyazcu We have the original in paper, which matches that digital version that Registro de las Personas has on their records. I don’t know how much more official you can get or need and we are getting mixed information all over the place.

So true! In my experience for the Embassy interview I had my birth certificate instead of the acta and they told me I would be approved if I was able to send a copy of the acta de nacimiento, because se birth certificate has no legal value under the US law. So I got my approval delayed a week until they received and checked the acta I sent to the Santa Fe building, not the embassy. I did translate and also did the Haya apostille to be able to use it once I arrived to the US.

For AOS I sent a copy of the acta again, and didn't get any RFE so far, I think you will be ok with what you have.

Did you translate your passport? I wonder if that is what they wanted, now I am confused.

Also, BC is the same as Acta, right?

My passport in in Spanish and English. Acta is BC

I apostilled and translated my Acta too and still got the RFE. So is just a matter of luck for me at this point. It doesn’t matter how well you prepare you package. From what I reading in other threads, USCIS is really messy right know

Unfortunately yes, they are I think they are really overloaded with work. As you know they messed up my EAD. They sent me a message saying they will review my petition, so hope they will knowledge the error and send a new one for me, if not I'll have to start all over again 😩

Good luck!

Yes I know about your situation. That’s why I’m saying it really doesn’t matter how cautious you are, if they want to mess it up they will. Is not up to you anymore.
I also read the other day that there’s less government budget this year for immigration process. So that means less people working and more waiting time.
when is your interview? Is in Queens?

You're totally right, less budget, same people and 3 times the workflow expected.

I'm a little concerned about the interview date, I've seen lots of July fillers getting their interview notice and I have no update till september 2019, but I read my Benefit Center in Lee's Summit MO, has lots of complaints and as far as I've seen in google comments,  they take forever, so I believe it'll be in April-May 2020. Do you have an interview date?

Oh I thought you got an interview date already. Sorry, I misunderstood. It seems your case is still at the National Benefit Center in Missouri and it hasn’t been transferred to your local office that I guess it will be Queens.
I wish I had something but no. I filled one week before you and I don’t have any update for my AOS/EAD/AP.
My parents and siblings are coming for 3 weeks on Thursday and we are having our wedding celebration on the 25th. So I’ll probably will stop thinking about immigration for a couple of weeks. Even though I want to be done already.

This is a very good question, I also would like to know.

In my case got NOA 1 back in July, did Biometrics in August, got my EAD in January with my married last name misspelled, so had to return it to the USCIS office in Lee's Summit MO, and now I'm waiting for them to send me a knew one or they will ask me to apply for EAD again.

My AOS application has no new update since September that they "corrected my last name", hope they did right.. so still waiting, no AOS interview yet

Si la renové con mi nuevo apellido. El número sigue siendo el mismo. Que suerte que ya tenes todo! Felicitaciones!
