Haha no worries in asking, this is what the forum is for 😀. She had to do her medical again and we filed it separately from AOs and EAD. It was sort of interesting when we came in to do her medical because according to the staff , at Port of entry she should have gotten more paperwork from the medical examination in Argentina that was required for the interview. All she had with her was a two sheet with the vaccines she had taken which was helpful but not entirely. They did blood and urine sample and physical again. The only vaccine she needed again was the MMR that apparently has a 1 month expiration. So the lady told us to make sure to file within those 30 days otherwise the form would be invalid.

We waited to have the AOs noa1 to file i693 so that we could include a cover letter stating that the medical was supposed to go along with AOs receipt number xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hope that helps!

Right. Apparently our medical is still food. But, because he didn’t have the vaccines done in Argentina, they want us to do a medical all over. Thoughts?

Best thing to do is call one of the USCIS clinics where they have a civil surgeon and make an appointment with them. They will be able to tell you what needs to be done and what doesn't depending on the documentation you guys have. Our main problem was that my wife had no proof/evidence that everything had been done in Argentina, except for the shots records which only she needed the MMR again. And we had no proof because at the Port of Entry in Dallas they didn't give her anything back. Maybe your case is different.

Ours is exactly the same. Bummer. :(

For those of you that are already in the USA or will be in the USA by the time Election Day happens in Argentina.  The deadline to change the domicile was April 30th, 2019, so we are not eligible to vote from the USA.  To be excused and not penalized, you have 60 days (after Election Day) to use this website and excuse yourself:  https://infractores.padron.gov.ar/

We got this directly from the Argentina Consulate in Miami.  Of course, you are welcomed to double-check with your local consulate or embassy.  Just thought we would share.

I went today to the NYC consulate and got the same information.

To add some info, the ID with new address cost 15 dollars

Here is an update from us:

Had to do a medical in the USA for AOS because of not letting Dra. Grillo do them in Argentina (even though she said it was perfectly OK to do them in USA).  Two blood works need to be done and another vaccine.  Medical ✔️ DONE ✔️ One blood work ✔️ DONE ✔️.  Doing the remaining tomorrow so we can have the Form I-693 by next week and we can mail the AOS (if Hurricane Dorian let's us :)).  SOOOO:

ADVICE:  DO VACCINES IN ARGENTINA NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU.

@Javier Mera and @andreaam For the Affidavit of Support, did you give as much information as for the K1?  Bank statements, etc. or did you only do the tax transcripts, W2s, and last 6 months of pay stubs?  Thoughts?

The only requirement is the most recent tax year with the w2, so I only sent 2018 tax form from IRS and w2. I didn't send nearly as much information as I did for the K1. No pay stubs, no employment letter, no previous years of taxes, etc...

No problem. Just to add to this, if you feel safer with sending more information just like we had to for k1 then do so. That will never harm your case, if anything will strengthen the petition. I personally did not care for more proof at this stage and was ready to send the paperwork haha. My thinking was "if by the interview of k1 they already have my employment information then why do they want it again".

We did 2 years of W2 and tax transcripts, last six months of pay stubs and bank statement and an employment letter. For K1 we did 3 years of W2 and tax transcripts, of course pay stubs and bank statements but also we sent investments and retirement information

Update from us:  Officially mailed the AOS packet.  We are working with RV, so it will take a little bit more time to get confirmation from USCIS.
