Being my naturally paranoid self, would I know by now if my fiance's Packet 3 never got to the London Embassy? (We sent off everything on the 15th of March).

We sent the Packet 3 to:

Immigrant Visa Branch

United States Embassy

5 Upper Grosvenor Street

London W1A 2JB

and put a return address on it too.

Is that the right address?

Maybe you or your fiance should try emailing the London Consulate...or calling them. Just a thought... :)

Did you send it Certified mail, same day or signed for? If so you will have a tracking number and u can check on royal mails website. Dont bother asking the embassy if they have received it because you will get the standard response ie. it takes 6-8 weeks for your application to be processed and appear on the embassy system.

Good Luck

The only way for you to know by now would be on your end like someone else suggested, by checking with certified mail. Other than that you will just get the canned response from them for quite some time.

I am going through the same thing, I sent mine back on 6th March. I emailed to check they got it and got the same canned response about 7 days ago, I emailed again to ask if they got my medical results and they replied the next day saying 'yes, we got your medical results' with the same canned response beneath it.

I've seen that this is common enough an occurence not to be too bothered at this stage, however like you, I will be very anxious so I'll probably keep emailing every week just to make them aware I am waiting eagerly!

I sent mine recorded mail and it appears to have got there, so for the next 2 weeks or so I'll just sit tight. THEN I'll start really stressing!!!!
