It’s very important to have photos of your time spent together! Honestly, I don’t see a petition being ever being approved without any photos in your evidence of proof of an ongoing relationship...

Incorrect.  Photos are secondary evidence and can easily be falsified.  Best evidence is passport stamps and boarding passes.

For high-fraud consulates, successful petitions are often front-loaded with photos, but some (like ours) are submitted and approved with NO photos without a problem.

Photos are secondary and not required, many have submitted petitions without pictures and been approved. There is nothing you can do to change it, anyway. I have a friend whose husband is from Syria and she sent only the required documentation and nothing else. No pictures or any other type of secondary evidence such as email and texts and her husband's petition was approved with no rfe. I'm not saying you should not send any secondary evidence, you should especially going through Pakistan, just send everything you have.

It may not be required, but it certainly couldn't hurt. I remember reading to 'front load' your I-129F as much as possible. Photos with you and the family shows that you do have an interest. Yes, they can be 'shopped' but I would think that kind of info would emerge at the interviewing process. But this is only how I see it from my 'corner of the Milky Way' galaxy!

True. I didn't submit one. We never thought to take any.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

totally agree on front-loading....I included soo many pictures, chats and other evidence that I was asked like 1 question at the interview and the officer said "you have provided everything we need, your visa is approved" after 2 minutes. My friend just did the same with her AOS and her interview had 3 questions and took 10 minutes, the officer didn't ask for any documents because he said he has everything in the file. No matter what the rules say, evidence (including secondary) does make the process easier and faster on you. Lack of thereof won't necessarily mean denial.

That’s great! They need to take this off the list of K1 Visa Guide... #2

1. Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file.
2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a local photo store such as Walgreens (if at all possible) or if not on a high quality printer. Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.

The important thing it says before that list "Use as many of these items are possible."

It does not say you MUST include any of those items to get approved, it merely suggests you include as many of those that you can.

Just me me being my usual pedantic self...

“Certainly couldn’t hurt” would be inaccurate. In nearly every case it’s fine. In some cases, people have provided unnecessary relationship evidence that resulted in a denial - e.g. last year somebody sent photos of a non-legal ceremony that resulted in a denial (too married). They had to legally marry and start over with a CR-1.

Agreed! Boarding passes, receipts, passport stamps all are important. Not photos, they are secondary...

In our case we even had prenup pictures done in the Philippines. We did not include any of those so it would not look "too married" even though prenups are common in the Philippines. We used about 10 photos for petition and interview. They were not required, we were just extra prepared on everything.

On another note, we finally have our AOS paperwork complete to send off today! (that sure was fun to get all of that together :bonk:)

I found gathering AOS paperwork simple and uninspiring.   What did you find challenging or complicated?

YMMV

Actually it wasn't that hard. Just SO many forms and some odd ways of USCIS wording things that I had to research and help from you mostly.

I just stress myself through this whole process because it is so important.

Now that I did it, it would be simple to do. But, I am not doing it again lol
