@WickedWorld Hi guys, how long did it take for your fiance to be notified by the Embassy in Bs As, and to receive packet 3?

Thanks!

Thanks!

They contact me by email 3 weeks after I sent them an inquiry about the case. Like 3 weeks after that, they sent the P3 instructions by regular mail.

So it was something like 6 weeks for them to mail the instructions. My NOA2 expired on January 11th 2020. and I received the instructions around December 13th.(not counting the email)

All my appointments are past the expiration date so we are sweating bullets. Hopefully is not a big deal.

@WickedWorld😥 oh I think we are going to have similar problems.  I sent an e-mail last week but had no answer and my fiance has tried calling the Embassy but just got the machine, no way to reach a person to help.

We are really stressed out, but I was told that noa2 is good for a year. So, maybe that helps.

Please keep me posted on what's going on? Maybe we can help each other:)

@JonnatYeah its impossible to reach someone by phone. Do you know if the documents are at the embassy already?

We already set the medical exam and interview for January 21st and 27th. and we need to take the P3 to the embassy this week.

This process is really stressful and I'm losing my mind.

Do not hesitate to send me a message if you need help.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to make an up date for those who are waiting to be contacted by the Embassy in Buenos Aires.

Our case shows up as Ready since December 27. So far we haven't received any notification from them.

We sent an e-mail, and we had no answer. We tried calling, and when my fiance finally reached them, and explained the case , their answer was " We don't take phone calls. If you have any questions, just send an e- mail" (already done that!) 😒, So this is very frustrating.

We have no answers, and we don't know what to do. The Embassy is not helping at all.

I was told we can't do much at this point but wait for them to contact us.

Does anybody have any advice? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you very much!

Ours took about 5 days for them to contact us after the 'Ready' status. That's weird it's taking so long for you guys and they are not helpful. For us they were great and responded quickly.

I would just keep emailing them. Make sure to include your case # (BNS one you got from NVC) in the subject, and petitioner and beneficiary names in the email. Those details will help them locate your file easier.

Also, are you emailing from petitioner or beneficiary email? Maybe try with both because sometimes they don't have both in the system.

@WickedWorld @Jonnat

@andyazcu Thank you for all your help always. It's really frustrating not knowing what's going on.

I just asked my fiance to send and e-mail, in case the Embassy don't have both of us in the system as you mentioned before.

😥

Hey everyone! Quick question, Does anyone know, how often they open new spots for interviews? We finally got the instructions for packet 3 last week, but when we tried to pay the visa fee and schedule an interview nothing was available. So, I sent an e-mail to the embassy, but still no news.

Any help is always appreciated!

thank you all!😄

When I tried to schedule my interview there weren’t any spots available. I emailed the embassy and in a couple of days the email back saying they open new ones

@Fer Schvarztman So you're saying that if we have our case number from the NVC, my fiance can fill out DS-160 and schedule her medical + interview (we are in Cordoba) before receiving anything from the Embassy? We have already done most of the P3 (I-134, photos etc) and it's ready to send. We will be explaining that the medical will take place closer to the interview since we have to travel to Bs As.

I guess my question is: is there anything in what the embassy sends us that we cannot learn online?

Wait to fill ds160 and scheduling interview until the reach out to you.

you can email them asking for next steps and they will answer back with the packet3 instructions. At that point they are saying that they are ready to take your case.
Im from Córdoba too :)

@goursh

I think @Fer Schvarztman was saying that you can find de P3 instructions on the embassy website if you want to start gathering documents. That's why the instructions are there too, to inform what is coming next.

From your message I can see you have all that done. Good for you! You don't have to rush to get everything ready.

You should wait to hear from them because they review every case before sending the P3 instructions. If you want to make the appointment for the interview now, is your call.

I'm the one who created this thread and I've been gathering information since a year ago. What we write here is from experience.

When I went to my interview, a guy was waiting with me, also doing a K1, and he didn't wait for the email for the embassy and sent the P3 packet and scheduled the interview. A week before the interview, he got an email saying he had to re schedule his interview because they hadn't reviewed his case from USCIS not even his Packet 3.

Then there was another girl in this thread that didn't wait either and everything went fine for her luckily.

I know your feeling, you want to be done already, you want to be with you loved one, but you guys are really close.

Keep emailing them until you get an answer about what is going on. Is better to be safe than sorry in this cases

(this is my personal opinion since we started the inmigration process on July 2018)
