Thank you!!! And awesome 😁😁 The POE will be San Francisco -- what about you?

@Fe.Ta thanks for that! I haven't started digging into much of the AOS stuff yet so I actually didn't know about that. One step at a time...

You are so welcome! Yes, one step at a time. But, at least being aware it is a good thing. For example, another user mentioned early in my P3 about legalizing and apostilling the birth certificate in Argentina so you would have it ready for AOS. I didn’t know that, but by being aware, we took care of it before we left, even though we wouldn’t need it for a while. 🤗

Hi and thank you all so much for all of this useful info. I have a question about my timeline. On Nov 26th, 2019 I received an email with an attached letter from the NVC stating that it had received my approved petition from USCIS and will be sending information to the US Embassy in Buenos Aires. The attached letter had a case number and USCIS receipt number but no Invoice ID. As of Jan 4, 2020 neither my fiancee in Argentina nor I have received any packets or the "Welcome Letter" from NVC or the Embassy. When i check the case status on the CEAC website, it says "READY" and was last updated on Dec 4, 2019. How should we proceed?

Email the embassy asking about your case and to get the P3 instructions. The e-mail for the embassy in Argentina has been shared here previously, but here it is:

Hola gente! Thank you for sharing all this information! It's a great help.

I'm reading as much as I can to figure things out, but I still have some doubts...

I already got my acta online, and have an appointment to pick up a printed copy this week. I have an appointment to legalize it and appostille it  on february 6, but my question is Do I have to translate everything, after legalized and apostilled? I thought that as long as the documents were  in Spanish , it was not necessary?

Our case has been ready since Dec 27, but we haven't been contacted by the Embassy yet. I'm so overwhealmed already  😥

Any help is appreciated. thank you!!!

@andreaam

I doesn’t need to be translated or apostilled for the embassy interview. But yes for the Adjustment of Status process that you will need to do once you are married in USA.
Don’t be overwhelmed. Is a lot but you can do it. Are you beneficiary or petitioner?

Did you email the embassy asking for instructions since the status is ready?

Let me know what other help you need.

ah ok! Gracias! I'm the beneficiary.

I sent an e-mail to the embassy this morning. I got worried because following other timelines, the beneficiaries from Argentina got packet 3 between 4-5 days after the Consulate received the case. But ours is going on 10 days already. I'm worried about, not having time to do everything and not being able to set an appoinment for the interview before Noa2 expires.

The paperwork that my fiance has to prepare, has and expiration date?( I mean form I-134, Tax transcripts, W2s, employment verification letter, pay statements, bank account verification letter  )

Because he needs to send those to me by mail, so I can have the originals for the interview.

Thank you again!

Thanks for the information.
The embassy can answer right away or it can take a couple of weeks. Don’t worry! They will reach out to you or your fiancé.
The paperwork your fiancé has to send does not expire. So he can start preparing those for when you can schedule the interview.
You can go to the embassy website and there you can find the P3 instructions packet to start gathering the rest of the paperwork. I recommend you to do the Police Certificate and the Medical exam at last because those do have expiration date between 60 - 120 days. This need to be valid for the interview.
Do not complete the DS160, send the P3 or schedule the interview before the embassy contact you. They review your I129 and then they tell you they are ready to take your case. Think that they have workload from more applications.
