Hi there, new here.

I'm a marriage based I-130, I-131, I-765, I-485 May 2019. All papers filed by immigration lawyer, with my medical exam included.

PD: 28th & 30th of May 2019 - NBC

Receipts: 6-6-19

BIO completed: 6-28-19

Radio silence ever since. No updates of any kind, nothing by mail, nothing online...my online accounts still sits at "finger print fee received" "case received".

I have see in forums that most people saw "finger print reviewed" within days of completing Biometrics. And I am worrying about my case, being as that never happened for me. The fact I've had ZERO updates, and as of today, the processing times have jumped backwards again :(

I'm at day 115 without a word.

Anyone else experienced a lack of updates during the process, yet received the EAD, or interview?

Try checking your case status online using website egov.uscis.gov. I find it more reliable than the myuscis account.

So, we finally called on 7/24 to ask why we still haven't received the biometrics appointment notice. At this point, it's been 69 days since our NOA1 and we just wanted to know if the letter was actually sent but lost in the mail, or was never actually sent, etc. After being on hold for almost 45 minutes, all they told us was that they'll open a service request and basically to call back in 2 weeks if we don't hear anything from them.

Well, today (7/27), I decided to check Informed Delivery (at this point, I'm just getting sick of waiting and physically opening our mailbox to find nothing) and I was so excited to see a letter from USCIS. I definitely thought it was the appointment notice, but unfortunately, it's just about the service request we opened. For a second there, they got me thinking that they actually work faster on the case after you open a service request... 🤦‍♀️

Anyway, according to the letter:

"Biometrics appointments are scheduled based upon set protocols related to each application/petition and/or their associated processing times. You will be scheduled for and be notified of an appointment at the appropriate time."

So, that basically means they haven't even thought about scheduling us. I honestly don't know what's taking so long because we haven't received anything from them since NOA1, not even a RFIE/RFE. I'm just dying to know what's holding them back from scheduling us.

4 whole months of waiting later… finally received a bio appointment notice! My appointment is on 09/30/2019. Definitely way, way later than expected, but I’m so glad I finally got scheduled

05/10/2019: I-485, I-130, I-765, & I-131 sent via USPS Priority Mail

09/30/2019: Biometrics appointment

10/12/2019: RFE letter received via mail (Notice Date: 10/09/2019)

Hi y'all,

Just wondering if anyone received a notice for the I-765 that USCIS will reuse previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics?

If so - any idea of what this means in terms of process step and timeline?

Got one today (dated the 13th) and am feeling like it's slow rolling.   Still waiting for I-485 interview and all that.

I also got a letter in the mail today which was also dated the 13th that they’re gonna use my biometrics for my EAD. No update yet on my status online. But hopefully this means they’re gonna produce our EAD soon!

We're pretty much the same.

NOA1: May 20th

Biometrics: June 24 (walk-in)

Nothing has changed on both sites, still "fingerprint fee was received".  I called last Aug 18, if the biometrics went through and they confirmed it did, and that somebody was working on it.

I'm in Vegas by the way, where is your state?

I'm in Long Island, NY. NBC is where all my receipts came from.

I called back in August as well, only talked to a call center rep, she said if my bio receipt was stamped, then they're working on it. She can only see the same as I see online. Not helpful at all.

I even called my lawyer to see if it was normal that I've heard absolutely nothing, because I see some people at least receive a courtesy letter... I've literally gotten NOTHING. Yet all these other peoples online cases update, it is so daunting. My lawyer told me that depending on who is working on my case and what their case load is, I may never ever get any updates made online. I signed up for informed delivery with usps and I'm disappointed every day, always nothing from USCIS.

I am in the same boat. :(

Mailed AOS on 30 May 2019.

Bio done on 27 June 2019.

Current status is "Fingerprint fee received".

Its almost 4 months since we sent the application and no action except the biometrics.

I noticed that some of the May filers with same date as mine and few June filers have got  interview dates.

My field office is Denver. I checked the quarter 2 report (Jan-Mar 2019) and 3000+ AOS applications are pending which is actually not that bad compared to other busy field offices where more than 6000+ cases are pending.

I am not worried about the GC. I will be happy if the issue the EAD and do the GC later.

I am so bored at home. :( Wanna work.

We are still waiting as well. There are other Russian girls In our area who now have their green card in the mail, and they filed after us.

We also want EAD and AP more than the green card at this point. My wife has been here since February and cannot work, drive or have a bank account. This should be illegal. She is not a prisoner. Russia is better than this #######.

We filed couple months before you, so if they are processing EADs in order,  you might be getting your approval in a bit less than 2 months, assuming things do not change. Seems like you had a bit of a delay between PoE and submitting actual AoS :(

They do need better system for EAD approvals for K-1. At least you don't have to worry about Oct 15 changes.
