My interview is finally Tuesday, been having trouble sleeping because I am so nervous lol. We made an error on our I-130 (about if you've submitted a petition before, clicked no instead of yes) so its making me worry a lot. But glad to be getting it over with. No EAD though, would be funny if we got one a couple days before the interview...have heard that happen.

Don’t bring it up on the interview unless they do/ask about it. Then apologize and say it was your error.

otherwise, it’s water under the bridge and no one else is the wiser.

;)

Update. EAD card being produced 17th September.

Update. Status changes to 'card mailed to me' yesterday and I can see I have a letter in the mail from the USCIS today. Checked once already, no post man yet!

Just looks the same as any other letter I have received. No indication a card is enclosed, really hope it is though:)

Keep us updated!! :)  We have two letters coming from USCIS today too!  Thinking one is the biometrics for the I-485?

Bit of an anticlimax really!

I also had 2 letters,  both notifications saying that my EAD and AP has been approved and it will be mailed to me shortly.

Still, at least it's moving along. Hope you get your combined card in hand today!!

Hi y'all,

Just wondering if anyone received a notice for the I-765 that USCIS will reuse previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics?

If so - any idea of what this means in terms of process step and timeline?

Got one today (dated the 13th) and am feeling like it's slow rolling.   Still waiting for I-485 interview and all that.

If you had biometrics for the i485,  then they are using that capture for the i765

YMMV

Yeah of course.  That's the letter information.

More wondering if anyone knows whether this means that they are currently actively running checks and once that is done - they'll either RFE, reject or issue the EAD OR if there are steps in between?

We're all getting pretty antsy with waiting in silence so just looking for clear information about process and steps.   USCIS is not a transparent organization.

Yesterday we saw a May 6 filer get approved.   With that said,  they are working on the files.  There is not much to the i765 so it should complete soon

I only ever did bio for my AOS not my AP or EAD. I haven't had any notification from USCIS saying that my prints will be reused but I have had confirmation that my combined EAD/AP has been mailed to me.

I did expedite though, maybe that could have had an effect?

After 4 months of waiting, today arrived in the post my biometrics appt for September 30th.

So happy for the progress right now, even if it's so little.

Hi there, new here.

I'm a marriage based I-130, I-131, I-765, I-485 May 2019. All papers filed by immigration lawyer, with my medical exam included.

PD: 28th & 30th of May 2019 - NBC

Receipts: 6-6-19

BIO completed: 6-28-19

Radio silence ever since. No updates of any kind, nothing by mail, nothing online...my online accounts still sits at "finger print fee received" "case received".

I have see in forums that most people saw "finger print reviewed" within days of completing Biometrics. And I am worrying about my case, being as that never happened for me. The fact I've had ZERO updates, and as of today, the processing times have jumped backwards again :(

I'm at day 115 without a word.

Anyone else experienced a lack of updates during the process, yet received the EAD, or interview?
