Similar situation here.... not so lucky of getting my status updated fast.....

still no sign of I-765 biometrics appointment.....

Should I raise another service request? It seems pretty useless at the point.... 😭

Received NOA on 5/21

RFE on 7/25

Respond on 8/5

USCIS notice of receiving document on 8/10

Biometrics notice for I-485 on 8/2

Biometrics walk in for I-485 on 9/10

No updates.......

Case was reviewed at NBC

Local office is Atlanta

Seems like a bit slower in ATL :(

Not much you can do but wait.   Did your biometrics also include i765?

YMMV

Watch your online status as that should be next.   Ours updated within 24 hours so theoretically it should be happening soon

YMMV

Anyone has experienced this? This is about my 765 application.

The first time I applied for the expedite was on July, it got declined after they sent an RFE. I re submitted the application on early august, a week after faxing the proof, the expedite got approved august 26, last week september 9 I got the case update, "Correspondence was received", I have not submitted anything other than the faxed evidence on early August but nothing after the expedite got approved. I am so confused. My biometrics were done on June 24, my PD is June 3. My OPT EAD is about to expire and I am worried about loosing my job.

Today marks the 4 month anniversary of the NOA1 for my applications. And I'm still waiting for the biometrics appointment.

4 months.

I called them August 15th to find out what was going on and when I could expect to receive the appointment.

"We'll respond within 30 days".

That time was up yesterday. Called them again today.

"We'll update the service request and respond within 30 days".

I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall with this. Getting literally nowhere.

I-765 case processing date is currently April 5th 2019. By the time the next 30 day window is up, that case processing date will be close to, or have passed, my receipt date. And I'm still waiting for the first part of this entire thing to happen - the biometrics.

Frustrated doesn't even get close to describing how I'm feeling right now...

I completely understand. The anxiety is killing me.

Even though few people are getting their documents processed faster than "normal", I think the vast majority is on the same boat in one way or another. Be strong!

Did you get a tier 2 service request?

YMMV

No. She just said she'd update the service request and see if they respond. And that if they didn't respond within the next 30 days then they'd look into ways of escalating it to get it moving.

I’ve been there and it sucks ☹️ Call USCIS again and tell them that the person you talked to last time told you to ask for Tier 2 in case you don’t get response from previous service request. That’s how I got them to transfer me to a Tier 2.
