Just received an email and a text from USCIS updated my status changed to " case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." My NOA1 is 5/24, got RFIE on 7/31, sent it back on 8/9 and received by USCIS on 8/12.

I think people who has just applied for EAD are getting processed faster, because there is another person who just applied for EAD in May got approved!

EAD approval has no correlation to biometrics appointment date other than it needs to be completed prior.   EAD is taking about 5.5 months from submission

My experience below;

 

Completed a form on arrival, took 2 minutes

Got called to a desk where a bloke checked my form and passport before sitting back down in the waiting area

Got called again for a picture and finger prints

 

In all had 5 minutes of processing, the rest was just waiting to be called. No hassle, I was in and out fairly quickly. Some people are there as little as 10 minutes.

I am searching out other ppl in seattle n all its showing is long backlog in seattle
