So it seems they are streamlining some of the processes.

Did application to AoS and was received May 3rd.

Biometrics June 3rd

Just got email that Interview is scheduled - but no notice Sept 6th/7th.

So no EAD/AP - just straight to green card as it contains both authorization to travel and work auth.

When will the interview be is unknown.

This is Chicago Field Office.

So about 4-5 months.

Probably because you had multiple updates occurring simultaneously and it was only in fingerprint review complete momentarily

YMMV

Hi All,

I need to make a proper profile. here are the details - Wife is from Peru, came on a K1 visa. Date of NOA1 for AOS was May 24.

We got an RFE at the end of July for my 2018 taxes for I485. I had filed an extension so I didn't include them at the time of submission in May. I sent that out and the case status was updated on Aug 6 that the national benefit center has received the evidence and will be processing again.

The good news is at least someone is looking at it. But I have not received anything for biometrics appointment. I see from the prior posts that a lot of people are having the same issues. I will give them a call tomorrow morning and try to see what the problem is and report back.

Thanks all for so much detailed information. It has been helpful to me over the last year and a half and I figured I should at least make a profile to load in my dates to help others. Thanks.

Hello,

Biometrics letter received 8/28 and scheduled for 9/11. It only lists i485 on the notice. We could have probably done a walk in, but it worked well as we were out of state on vacation most of that time. Hopefully we get scheduled quickly. I think the Cleveland office normally goes pretty fast. She is anxious to get back to Peru to continue planning our church wedding.
