Hello guys. I'm so nervous. Tomorrow is my interview at 1:45 pm... I have everything super organized.... Hope everything goes well. I will let you know how was it. Watch so many videos to have an idea how will be and some made me so nervous

Goodluck!! My interview is in 3 weeks and I am so nervous so I could imagine how you feel with it being tomorrow. It'll be such a relief having it all done though, I am sure it will go well

YES!! It was our biometrics appointment!  It's only for EAD but we're happy with some progress!  The appointment is for Monday but he's going to try for a walk-in tomorrow.  Hopefully things will keep moving from here on out!

Congrats!

I'm starting to see a decent amount of April filers starting to get notices that their EADs are approved without being expedited! We shouldn't be too far behind now! I'm so thankful for this part of waiting to be coming to a close!

My adjustment of status journey.

Because my K1 visa took so long to be issued 2 years  plus, we weren't sure wether they will give us so we got married in my home country January 2019.

As soon as we got married around 18th January 2019 our K1 visa was issued, i did second medical as required

MY DOCUMENTS WERE PROCESSED IN NBC-LEE SUMIT ..( All my 3 documents) i live in Kansas MO.

1- Arrived in USA on April 15, 2019

1a- Applied for SSN # and received after 30 days ( Authorized to work with DHS approval)

1b- Applied driving license using form I94 ( expired same time my I94 expired but i continue using my home country license)

1c- Enrolled in College ( degree in Computer), Because of I485 my tuition was same as Residence .

2- Filled and submitted our AOS package on May 01, 2019

3- Package Received on May 06, 2019

5- NOA 1 received on May 10, 2019

6- Biometrics done on June 05, 2019

7-Ready to Schedule interview on July 18,2019  ( status changed to Testing & Interview )

8-Interview done in Kansas city office on Sep 03,2019   ( Went very well, 30 minutes or so..very friendly man, made us feel comfortable)

9- New Card being produced status change on Sep 03, 2019

10- Form I485 Approved  on Sep 04, 2019

11- New Card Mail on Sep 05,2019

I thank God for making this journey possible and for the support received from Visa Journey.I learned a lot here...For those still waiting for their documents,God will guide y'all.

my process took exactly 4 months and 5 days ( 122 days)

NB: Form I-765 and I-131 status never changed ever from " case received on May 6th), It don't matter now anyway.

NYC Manhattan Filer here!

Filed on June 29, 2019, NOA July 1, 2019.

Just received an update that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview (Sept 6 2019). Now the super long wait begins because the processing time for NYC is the highest in the country!

Hello everyone I got my interview today and I am a resident now. It was wait easier than I thought ( St Albans- Vermont) no one was there. Just the two of us. Super fast.  He asked my husband how we met and how was our wedding and he didn't even ask for any of the documentation I needed to bring and all the pictures and documents they gave it back to me .There was an officer there and a police officer and after 2 minutes of questions he said he stamped my passport and said now you can travel you can work you can study you can do everything. I got a temporary greencard because I have been married less than 2 years. I also asked about changing my last name so I did it and my green card is going to be with my husband last name. So happy. Good luck to everyone

Hi, congratulations!!!!!!

can you tell me if are you gonna have By mail the card or only the stamp inyour passport?

I will get it on the mail. That stamp is just for these days. When I checked my status it says "new card is being produced" good luck 😃
