Congratulations. Would you share how many days passed from ready to schedule interview to interview schedule?  Thanks.

So I got my biometrics done on Thursday (was one of those people who had issues with scheduling) on Saturday my status changed to "your case is ready for an interview " and today I checked uscis again and saw that an interview was scheduled! So 3 days!

So I got my biometrics for my EAD done august 1st.

I still havent gotten my biometrics letter for the AOS and when I asked about it, they said they are still doing a backgroundcheck.. Why would they do it before they do the fingerprints? I just dont understand :(

Any advice here?

They do not provide any consistent information. I got Biometrics notice only for the I-485 and they told me only one Biometrics letter is sent for all applications and I will not receive another letter for I-765. The same biometrics will be used for that application too. So confusing.

yeah sadly thats not the case for me, my biometrics only had the EAD casenumber in it and even the officer told me i need to come back. So i put a service request and they said no biometrics yet cuz of background check...

It feels like no one else had this problem

There's no way really to know which information is correct. If the officer I spoke to is right, then you won't be receiving another appointment. If the officer you talked to is right, I should be getting a 2nd one for my I-765 which the officer I spoke to said will never be sent -_-

The info that I need to have a second appointment is correct. This doesnt happen very often but it does. I dont understand why I always have to battle with someone about it being true or not true. There are multiple threads in this forum about people having two biometrics appointments.

I just wanna have help from someone with knowledge about the backgroundchecks and how to proceed from here if it is BEFORE the appointment. But I guess I have to open a new thread because the only answer I ever receive is people saying "BUT MY OFFICER SAID IT DIFFERENT". Sorry but its just not ok. nice for you that you got only one appointment. Not everyone is as lucky as you.

Maybe you misunderstood what I am trying to convey. I am not fighting you. You may need a second appointment and maybe so do I - but I couldn't find a way to figure out how to inquire about it - that's just what I am telling. That's why I called USCIS because after reading the threads and comments I understood people with one biometric usually have both I-485 and I-765 listed in the letter. Since my biometric letter only listed the I-485, there's basically no update of my I-765 biometric which is driving me crazy and even after calling I couldn't find out anything about it.
