I only have one for I-485. I walked in June 24.  Will I receive another one for I-765? Should I be alarmed and call USCIS tomorrow?

I also received only for the I-485 and that's why was confused. Seems like people have received one notice mentioning both I-765 and I-485. So yeah we should call and inquire. Keep me posted what you hear back. Thanks!

We had our biometrics appointment yesterday (Tuesday August 27th) only by driving all over the state of Texas and many phone calls demanding answers.

We still have our service request pending. We should cancel it but I’d rather not deal with USCIS as they have proven to be pretty terrible.

Those who got the biometrics appointment, did you receive 2 separate letters for fingerprint, one for I-765 and one for I-485 ? Did you receive one letter that mentions both, or did you just receive a letter mentioning just I-485 or I-765? Please share your experience.

We never received a letter and went to an info pass appointment to directly receive our biometric appointment letter in hand, scheduled for next day. (They tried to schedule same day in a different city, but I told them “hell no”).

I noticed our appointment letter had I-765 and I-485 circled, and when we went to the biometric appointment they checked it off. So I’m certain ours covered both. I think yours should cover both as well because it’s AOS filing.

You can also verify at your appointment, just ask them.

Same here. They received my birth certificate and translation on July 17, so more than 30 days for me... 😔

That's frustrating 😔But we'll get through it

Hello all, what accounts were you all able to add your spouse to without a SSN? I have already tried a few places  but most won't add my husband to any of my accounts because he doesn't have a SSN. We applied for his SSN way before his I94 expired, however the representative who assited us somehow entered all of my husbands information into the system incorrectly, so long story short my husband has to wait to get his SSN after he gets his green card or EAD. Well we have an interview scheduled for early Sept. and I'm freaking out because so far we only have proof of one joint account. We also have the paperwork from the social security administration that shows the date we originally filed for his SSN and other letters concerning this. Anyone have this happen and had an interview already?

Hi, is anyone RFE received status has changed ? It's been 20 days since they received my birth certificate and translation.  No update since then😔

They received my RFIE on Aug 12th,

then I received a courtesy letter regarding I-693 on Aug 19th.

Thought that I had to do a I-693, but it turned out that K1 holders didn't need to,

because the sealed package I turned in at the airport should include the medical report they needed.

We had our interview today and I am unsure what to think. It felt like it went well, we answered all the questions and the interviewer was friendly enough but he did not recommend approval. He gave us a paper that said further review was needed, I didn't see him print the document so I think it was already prepared before we came in. He said all our documents are in order and asked if we wanted to submit anything else so we gave him a few pictures and health insurance copy and cell phone bill. We didnt answer anything wrong or say anything off so Im not sure why they would need further review. Hopefully I am just overthinking it and they will approve it soon

In latest crackdown, new policy makes it easier to deny work permits to immigrants....

Anyone wondering what this is all about? Looks like USCIS is looking to make it easy to deny AP/EAD cards for Parolees waiting to get their green card. Just another BS immigration policy and I hope it isn't targeted too much for us who are doing things the right way.    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/immigration/article234221022.html

Sounds like a good interview to me too. I just got my notice for Sept 24th,  could I ask what you brought with you aside from pictures and health insurance? Did you reprint any of the forms or affidavit, etc?

I was thinking to bring all the legal stuff like birth certs, marriage certs, etc along with all the evidence of a bonafide marriage + obviously IDs
