Do you guys know if your status online tells you date and time of your interview at some point? My status recently changed to “interview has been scheduled” but I haven’t received any letter, I know I should wait some more days to see it in the mail but I called Uscis today (some other questions) and asked them about this and they told me they don’t know why I am seeing this because is too fast to get my interview scheduled, and that this status actually means that I am in queue for an interview and when they have a date available for me I will see it on my status online (date/time). I just think it’s kind of weird.

You will get a letter within a week with the date on it

My noa1 was may 20th and I still dont have the AOS biometrics. Is my EAD on hold until this is done or is this a different thing?

I really dont care for having the AOS done, I just wanna have my ead and ap.

Biometrics for one is biometrics for both

YMMV

Nope, in "rare" cases they schedule two appointments. Which of course happened to me. All "rare" stuff happens to me.

The officer was quite confused aswell and told me "you have to come back to take biometrics for the other petition too".

Now im once again in limbo. Just hoping they do EAD and AP different from the AOS.

Well then he has no Idea. It should not happen, but it does.  You want me to show you my appointment notice that only lists EAD

I just wanna know if this slows my stuff down or not.

So our Immigration stataus may be seriously delayed because Immigration officers are now being asked to help ICE with asylum cases. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/hamedaleaziz/uscis-immigration-applications-backlog-ice?fbclid=IwAR3RIC2diqenyDm1WoC4xEdzj08C-n8cv4Owh4e-qaItPlDDxPEV_W8k-bg. We could be in for a very long wait to process our cases. Hate that we who are doing things the right way are being delayed for those who come over and break our laws.🤬

Thanks! You were right, I received yesterday the interview appointment letter in the mail.  I just think it’s weird a T2 agent told me he didn’t see anything scheduled for me yet, but it’s definitely not the first time they give me inconsistent info over the phone . Thank you anyways!

Hello guys I wonder how long it takes to be change status to “ interview is scheduled “? I’m in Seattle fields office

I’m now at status “ case is ready to be schedule “ since July 31

They schedule interviews 6 weeks in advance,  so as soon as an opening is available

YMMV

I get more annoyed that they are attempting to take people away from a fee based service that is paid by citizens to do a job that is paid by tax money. Go find other government employees that are paid by tax dollars to help. There should be some type of accounting/audit rules that should prevent them from mixing like that, unless they say that the fees only cover a portion of the employees salaries, and the rest is covered by taxes. Grr. But I think I also read that it didn't end up happening.
