Status changed to  “ready to schedule an interview”. 😎, we are in Massachusetts hope I get my interview soon 🙏

I did call a month ago  as well a was told to wait ..

What do you say  to call person to get to level 2 officer or make case move ..?

 

Last time I called I said can you take a look whats going on

and lady said the case has not been assigned or something and I did not what to say

 

I just called them this morning. I pretty much asked the lady if I could talk to the tier 2 officer and she said that the tier 2 officer will probably tell me the same thing ( that everything is okay, just wait) but she doesnt really care so she will put me through. So tier 2 officer is supposed to call me in 560 hours or something 😅

So after almost 2 months later after biometrics were done our status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Ready to be Scheduled". Hopefully this is good news to come! 🤞

Seems like a lot of people getting this change this week. I got So excited when i saw that status has changed 😂. But now not sure how long we can be stuck on this status. But Atleast we know that it’s unlikely that we will get a request for documents.

Yes, truly. I'm hoping because it took so long from the time our Biometrics were completed that this means they scheduled it. I got an email from USCIS saying:

 

"If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location, and anything you will need to bring to your interview."

Oh cool. I didnt Get that email. Fingers crossed.

Our status changed last Wednesday saying that it was ready to be scheduled for an interview. Then on Friday the status had updated to interview has been scheduled and letter sent. So now we're just waiting on the letter, not sure how long that will take.

Yes, I was actually surprised and very happy!! Biometrics were done 6/17.

Filed May 20th

 

Spoke to Tier 2 today who tells me that after 12 weeks no biometrics has been arranged and that she cannot schedule me an appointment over the phone, that would be up to my local office which is El Paso. 

 

The Tier 2 rep raised a request for me over the phone and told me this would be answered in 2 weeks. Hope that is the case.

Starting to think I will Christmas at home at this rate!

Hey guys! (I am one of the people who had issues with biometrics) I just got a call from a tier 2 officer who told me that my appointment for biometrics has been scheduled for August 22. They scheduled me yesterday (so when I got that email from USCIS) 

I am very excited!!!

Still no ssn card. However I just got the email updating my case status to “testing and interview.” Our local office is Atlanta so hopefully we get a interview soon. Friday we’re going to SSO to request an entirely new ssn and have the card sent to the office for pickup.

AOS filed May 3rd - processed May 7th.

Biometrics June 3rd.

July 10th - Status changed to “Ready to schedule interview.”

Just called yesterday to see if they sent anything via mail.

was told we are in queue for scheduling and it may take another 90 days to get scheduled based on some internal wait time counter in their system.

so the wait continues.
