i swear to god, i only have problems with these immigration petitions...

i went to my bio appointment today and didnt notice it only said the EAD on the NOA.... so the woman told me, i am gonna get another bio appointment for my AP and AOS... and she was even confused that I didnt get AP with EAD together.

Some people get 2 separate notices for I-485 and I-765 biometrics, some people get both in 1 notice.

I don't think they need your fingerprints for AP though...

Haha I can totally relay.

I was worried sick when the USCIS website didn't update my I-765 has completed the biometrics.

I'm now waiting for RIEF myself, an unpleasant letter...

Your next notice must be on its way! Hang in there!!

AP comes in a combo card with EAD so they only need to collect for it one time. Biometrics for AOS, I assume, will arrive to you separately. It's not the norm but it's not unheard of.

Typically,  unless they get adjudicated separately

YMMV

Hi friends,

I am thankful for having this forum available for us May 2019 filers!

So here's my timeline:

May 16, 2019 - I 485, I 765 and AP received by USCIS NBC

June 03, 2019 - received 3 NOAs

June 11, 2019 - received letter for biometrics appointment

June 26, 2019 - biometrics appointment done

June 28, 2019 - Case status online changed to "FINGERPRINT REVIEW WAS COMPLETED"

Now, I got a very promising job offer from a biotech company here in the Bay Area that I cannot put down because it's my dream job.

July 17, 2019 - submitted a congressional expedite request for my i 765  under the "SEVERE FINANCIAL LOSS" category.. sent my supporting documents like my husband's student loan and another remaining loans, an offer letter from the company and a cover letter addressed to the USCIS..

July 26, 2019 - called the USCIS customer care to file a expedite request on my own because I haven't seen any updates from the past week which made me anxious for my offer will start on Aug 12, 2019.

August 1, 2019 - Received an update from my congresswoman's office that my i 765 is routed for expediting... (see photo)

August 2, 2019 (today) - USCIS emailed me that my case is under review. And on my case status online, here's the update (see photo below)..

My question is, how long shall I expect for a reply or update from them? Thankfully, I was able to move my start date to Aug 26.. i am just wondering how most of people with expediting experiences got any update from them after receiving these notifications?

Thank you everyone! Let's fight until we get that green card.. i just cannot wait to start a life with my husband because it is just so depressing to stay at home for months doing nothing.. this is why i decided to expedite. ❤

I did not received an approval notice on the website but my status changed to 'Card being produced' after 4 days. I have a strong feeling that your case is approved. Congratulations!

I quoted the wrong post lol 😂 It was supposed to be for @cja94 regarding expedited I-765. My apologies @sayuki_vi My I-485 has been ready for 3 weeks already. Field office is Sacramento.

Hi guys, I am considering writing to senator about not having my biometrics appointment scheduled after all this time. And on the "request for assistance" form I need to fill out there is a line that asks for a petitioner's name and then another line that asks for beneficiary's name and then all other information including address, and etc. Who should I put as a petitioner? I am a little confused whether i should put my husband as a petitioner and myself as a beneficiary or if I should put myself as both petitioner and beneficiary since I am the one applying for AOS

Thank you in advance for any help
