Hi everyone!

AOS sent on May 21

NOA 1 on May 24

Biometrics on June 20

Is anyone here's cases are being processed by NBC like mine by any chance?

I couldn't check the processing time for my I-485,

so I am dying to figure out how long I gotta wait to hear from it...

Thank you in advanced!

52 days and still no sign of my biometrics letter - NOA1 dated May 24. I've just filed a service request with the contact center and was told I should receive a response within 15 to 30 days. If not, I should phone them again to chase it up.

I have my biometrics appointment notice! Finally! It's on 1 August at midday, a mere 69 days after my NOA1. The notice date is 7/12, so it was processed just before I put in my service request.

I hope everyone else still waiting gets their biometrics notice soon.

That's awesome. Congratulations! How did you get notified? Did you directly receive the letter? Was there any text update or did the status change in your online portal from "Fingerprint Fee Received" to anything else? What's the status showing up in your service request? I have the same NOA1 date and also opened a service request but nothing on my biometrics yet :(

Thanks! I got the letter today. My online case status hasn't changed and is still saying 'fingerprint fee received'.

I wasn't expecting to receive anything today, because I'd just received a phone call from the Memphis ASC basically saying they'd sent me the wrong response to my service request. The reply they'd sent said my application had been approved, so they were calling to tell me to disregard that. I still haven't received the right response to my service request, but that feels less of an issue now than their administrative incompetence...

Congratulations!  I am still waiting for my letter even though I sent my package on May 13th and my NOA1 date is May 20th. I opened a service request July 1st but still no response...

Got our biometrics today!

It was sent on the 12th. This was a 50 day differential from our NOA

Interestingly, this biometric notice is for the EAD. The office I will be attending is very fast and efficient historically compared to other locations. As such the AOS is 99% of the time granted before the EAD is even looked at.

Is anyone aware of whether this biometrics is perhaps covering the AOS application and some system setup has meant that the EAD was printed as the application type?

So I check my case today for the first time and it says on the case tracker that they are ready to schedule an interview as for July 9th. But I have yet to receive anything in the mail. Can anyone enlighten me on the time frame from when they are ready to schedule to when they actually schedule the interview is ?

Not yet because they sent me the letter that I never received. It was scheduled on June 4 but I just recently discovered that. I had to talk to a tier 2 to find out and reschedule. I will have that on August 1st. Waiting for the letter to do an early check-in. In which office did you do your biometrics appointment?

Is it possible to receive RFIE without biometrics? I am on my 65th day since submitting the AOS packet but did not receive any biometrics appointment letter. When I checked my case on uscis website today, they said they sent an RFIE yesterday ☹️☹️☹️

I called and waited 90 minutes,  finally spoke to someone who said the biometrics appointment should appear within 30 days and that if it doesn't they will send notification to the service center to schedule an appointment.

That's what they did for me.  We'll see if they really do it

YMMV

Apparently it is possible because it was also my case. I also thought that it was weird. Do you know the reason for the RFIE? In my case was the birth certificate.

I was able to do my biometrics today (received the rescheduled appt letter yesterday and did early walk-in). Have you opened a request with USCIS for your biometrics appt? In my case they sent the letter months ago but I never received (just discovered that recently)... calling them in the past didn't help either because they said no appt was created for me...
