Is anyone still waiting for Biometrics letter with NOA1 date around May 24th? My wife tried calling them but they refused to provide any information to her since she's not the applicant -_- although she's the petitioner. We're planning to call again this Friday.

Yes, NOA date May 22, still haven’t received the biometrics letter and it has been over a month! We sent our application to the Chicago lockbox, you?

I've wondered that, too. You would think it would cause an issue but maybe it just depends how you word the situation. If you explain you didn't foresee a delay for this long for EAD and that you (or whichever is the immigrant) would like to put your skills/degree/expertise to work to be a functioning member of American society and to be able to support yourself maybe they won't see it as a hindrance.

I am not planning to apply for expedited ead, I also think it's already a huge line of people waiting for expedited ead. Just was wondering how it works, thanks! :)

either "Fingerprint was complete" or "Ready to Schedule for Interview"

Thanks. Still no change for me, I assume its no big deal. It seems to be slow for everybody. Always terrible being in limbo though

I hear ya. Mine changed to Fingerprint Fee Received the same day it was received and it hasn't changed since. I don't care about it changing to "Fingerprint was complete" but I do hope it changes when they schedule the interview. 🤞

Despite informed delivery showing my SS Card supposed to be delivered almost 4 weeks ago, I still haven’t received it. I called the SSO last tuesday and they said they would send another one and I’d receive it within 10 days. But as of today nothing.

My I-485 status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for interview" today.

I am a bit confused since I received an RFIE last week that I have not responded to yet but I suppose it means that we are in line for interview with our local office now.

I have just encountered something similar to another poster above. Filed the AOS and EAD/AP May 3rd. June 3rd was biometrics.

Just received a notification by txt and can see on case tracker that I-485 is ready to be scheduled for interview. Absolutely no change for the EAD/AP.

Mare they trying to be efficient and just knock out 2 birds with 1 stone? If the interview is set done and conditional GC is given then there is no reason to have an EAD/AP when one has a green card.....

Or is this just the normal/usual state of affairs?

UPDATE

Package sent May 8

Received May 10

Biometrics June 5

RFE July 10: Notification by e-mail (awaiting hard copy)

I was looking at the case tracker app and a lot of people have gotten RFIEs around our filing dates. My letter arrived on Friday and it was a nonsense one about a birth certificate that I already submitted. Guess I'm going to just resend it.

Hope yours will be simple to resolve too!

I got a notice that our case has been updated. YAY! When I logged into the old site (nothing changed on the new one) it shows that the I-485 is now ready to be scheduled for an interview. No other updates on the EAD/AP. We had the biometrics about a month ago and filed about 2 months ago. So at least it feels like something is happening. However, from what I've hearde, this is the last status change that happens before it sits for months & months. But it's good to know that we're now in line for an interview, however long that line takes.
