Ours status updated the next day. But i don’t think it’s consistent. Some statuses don’t update and yet the case moves forward.

I had biometrics done on the 31st of May, status still not updated. Called USCIS yesterday and the lady told me that they received my biometrics on June 3rd.

It's definitely inconsistent and it seems that there's nothing that can be done accept for waiting. Uh it's so stressful

Me neither. Biometrics done on the 21st. I assumed there was not anything left to wait for though? Aside from the interview of course. What are we waiting for the status to change to?

either "Fingerprint was complete" or "Ready to Schedule for Interview"

Past week has been a rolletcoaster for me in terms of updates (May 6th filer). Got RFIE for birth certificate that I submitted with my initial packet definitely fulfills the requirements on Friday, then later on Friday got a notification that EAD is in production (I did expedite). Today got the courtesy letter for I-693 since I didn't submit it with my initial application.

I suppose now the long wait for the interview begins.

You can apply now, but I believe I saw someone else post that their expedite status was in "suspense" until biometrics were completed so chances are they won't consider an expedite until that's done. But, if you try let us know how it plays out!

Good luck! :)

Just curious, would it bring any issues on the interview? Basically the sponsor said that he/she has enough income to support K-1. Just been reading about it and probably got confused.

I've wondered that, too. You would think it would cause an issue but maybe it just depends how you word the situation. If you explain you didn't foresee a delay for this long for EAD and that you (or whichever is the immigrant) would like to put your skills/degree/expertise to work to be a functioning member of American society and to be able to support yourself maybe they won't see it as a hindrance.
