Hi all,

Re-posting my previous post

Mailed AOS package (I-485, I-764, and I-131) via USPS - May 30, 2019
UPSC delivered the AOS package to USCIS - Jun 02, 2019 at 8:56 pm
Text Notification from USCIS (3 SMSs with different receipt numbers) - Jun 05, 2019 at 10:18 pm
NOA-1 (AOS) notice mail received - Jun 10, 2019
• Received Date on NOA-1 (AOS) notice mail - Jun 03, 2019
• Notice Date on NOA-1 (AOS) notice mail - Jun 04, 2019

I have few questions:

1) What would be the next step that we need to do?

2) My I-94 is valid till August 5, 2019. Since I have already sent the AOS package what will be my immigration status once I receive the notice in the mail or what would be my status once my I-94 expires?

3) My receipt numbers starts with "MSC" which I found is the National Benefit Center. What is or How do I find the processing time for MSC/National Benefit Center?

4) I am located in Grand Junction, Colorado and there isn't any local CIS office. How do I find my nearest CIS office?

Thank you

We are in a similar situation. Packet sent on May 20 and received on May 21 at the Chicago lockbox. I called yesterday and was told they would be opening up an inquiry and would take up to 30 days to get a response. They have no record of receiving the package and my check hasn’t been cashed either.

I have a feeling our packets are just sitting there at the Chicago lockbox and no one hasn't touched it yet. USCIS is really getting on my nerves these days. I see all those illegals coming in now California wants to give them free health care. Wish I could do that for my wife but it's too expensive. Richmichelle, Did you call the 800-375-5283 number? I was told to wait 15 days and then do an inquiry so I'll wait till Friday. Let me know how things are going on your end and let's hope we can find out this week.

Hello everyone , am a May Filer 13th I got my NOA1 but till now no Biometrics appointment letter and the site has not updated. Should I be worried? Can I call in

Same here.  We called tonight and they said it hasn't been sent out but they did give us a reference number and said to call back if we haven't received the letter by June 26th.  My guess is that they haven't sent it out yet but now that we called, they'll send it.  🙄

Well, finally I got the text messages tonight for all the forms I sent so I'm guessing the NOA1 letters should be on the way. For those of you who sent your packages on the last week of May hang in there it should be ready to be processed.

Yes I called as well this morning and she told me it hasn’t been send it yet. But I have to wait 30days from NOA1 which is June 19th if I don’t receive it I should call back. I just got worried because someone in the same state as me, and I applied before her has gotten her biometrics letter.

I’m hoping we get it soon before the 30days .

Glad yours finally was processed! Still nothing here. I don't understand why the simplest of tasks are so difficult, and really makes me question how well they actually review applicants. Cannot wait for this whole process to finally be over.

I have few questions:

1) What would be the next step that we need to do?

Wait for your Biometric Appointment, then after you complete it wait for your interview. Timelines for that vary by location.

2) My I-94 is valid till August 5, 2019. Since I have already sent the AOS package what will be my immigration status once I receive the notice in the mail or what would be my status once my I-94 expires?

Keep a copy of your I-94 and AOS NOA1 with you. That's what you have to prove you have authorized stay. Your status after your I-94 is out of status w/authorized stay.

3) My receipt numbers starts with "MSC" which I found is the National Benefit Center. What is or How do I find the processing time for MSC/National Benefit Center?

MSC is for the Missouri Service Center (National Benefits Center). You can find the time for processing for EAD and AP at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Your AOS timeframe will depend on your local office.

4) I am located in Grand Junction, Colorado and there isn't any local CIS office. How do I find my nearest CIS office?

You can search which local office is assigned to your zip code here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

Yes, I've been getting it every other week for our I-129F that was approved in December. Hoping they stop sending it at some point.

for those of you who have filled out your i-485. did you sign using your native alphabet, or did you sign in English.

for example,  signing in Chinese characters apposed to English letters?

Since you have some time left before your I-94 expires, have you been down to the social security office and applied for your social security card yet? If you wait till after your 90 days expires you will have to wait till you get a work permit card and that would be anytime between 4-7 months. Best to get that done now and then you are good till your employment card arrives and you can start work right away.
