Sent May 17th, 2019 AOS/EAD/AP, was supposed to arrive Saturday

Been about 8 days and getting anxious, because we lost the tracking from USPS. Hoping for the text messages soon, this whole process has me so paranoid.

Hi everyone!

Completing the final touches for our AOS forms! This is a silly question, but want to be extra sure - for Tax Returns do you submit the entire return (typically 25-30 pages) or just the first page that states total income and what the return was?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, not sure who would be privy to that specific info, perhaps M-F? Ours arrived yesterday and tracking shows pick up available. I'm guessing they wont pick it up till Tuesday? Probably a pretty safe assumption that mail pick-up won't happen on a Federal holiday.

I would think that they will get mail on Tuesday. Next question - I wonder how many packages/parcels they will have to add to the already voluminous amount in their possession? Hang in there. Your paperwork will soon be in the adjudication queue.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Sorry, the last question of it being picked up Tuesday was more of an assumption, not a question.

On the first question, it would have to be Mon through Friday, of course. I was just wondering if anyone who has experience through seeing various cases know more or less when they pick them up (everyday, on certain days, every other week, etc) since ours was ready on Friday morning and wasnt picked up.

A good example of what I meant is how NVC was deduced to ship cases every other Tuesday to the embassies for K1. Nobody was privy to that info, it was deduced by gathering data.

Thank you for your help, though, yes we will all fall into the wheel of adjudication queue soon enough. :)

Good question. Here are the instructions for Form I-864, page 8:

Quote

Item Numbers 23.a. - 25. Federal Income Tax Return Information. You must provide either an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.

You are not required to have the IRS certify the transcript or photocopy unless specifically instructed to do so by a Government official; a plain transcript or photocopy is acceptable.

Do not submit copies of your state income tax returns. Do not submit any tax returns that you filed with any foreign government unless you claim that you were not required to file a Federal individual income tax return with the United States Government and you wish to rely on the foreign return solely to establish the amount of your income that is not subject to tax in the United States.

If you provide a photocopy of your Federal individual income tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Do not include copies of these forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your Federal individual income tax returns rather than a photocopy unless you filed a joint income tax return with your spouse and are qualifying using only your income.

REF: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

To avoid a possible RFE, most folks interpret this to mean every single page of your UTR. As a consequence, many folks obtain and submit IRS-provided tax return transcripts, they are easy to obtain and are free, https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript .

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Not sure if that level of information is available, and may be subject to personnel and scheduling variations.??

One thing is certain, a day here and a day there is likely not going to markedly change the current I-485 adjudication timeframe, from VJ stats of between 375 and 400 days. With EAD and AP timeframes of ~ 4-5 months.
