This is my first time post here. Finally I received e-mail notice of EAD/AP approval from USCIS early morning today. Since my PD of May 13, it was almost 6 months.
Today I am so happy. Your posts have relaxed my stressful waiting days.
Thank you very much for your posts.

My timeline is as below,

May 13 PD
June 6 NOA
June 24 Biometrics appointment
June 25 Finger print review was completed.
……… Long silence ……(No RFE)
Oct. 9  Case is ready to be scheduled for a interview.
Nov. 10 EAD/AP approval notice was sent to me by e-mail.
Still I am waiting the EAD/AP card and the interview notice for I485.

I'll keep my finger crossed that you will get yours too soon!

It’s absolutely a money thing!! We feel they may have lost it. We’re more annoyed because we brought it to the interview, specially told the officer we had everything that was mentioned on the interview letter and she said she didn’t need it because she had everything she needed.
Prior to my medical in Ireland I went to my own doctor who went through all my vaccines (my mother had every record of every vaccine since I was born!) I got boasters if I needed them, so I know 100% all the vaccines are up to date.
All we can do is call on Monday and go from there. We’re so ready to be done with immigration for 2 years, the most frustrating experience ever!

If it’s not inconvenient, maybe try scheduling an infopass to the local field office and see if they will directly accept the medical from you there.  That way it can get directly into the IO’s hands.  You can mention everything that happened during the interview.

At this point, it’s 100% a USCIS error.

Monday is is also a US Federal holiday so USCIS will be closed.  Good luck!

I thought of infopass but the nearest office is 2 and a half hours away from me 😕

I talked to a rep on the USCIS website just now, it was infuriating!! First he told me that I wouldn’t need another medical and might be only required to complete the vaccination portion, this was after I told him twice I have the DS3025 in my hand and was sent with our AOS application. Then his response was if I have questions about a specific request in the RFE they recommend i contact an immigration attorney or a representative from an accredited community based organization!
We’re hoping for something more positive tomorrow when we call the field office where we had the interview 🤞🏼

Very disappointed today. My EAD Card was sent last week but when I checked the tracking it said delivered and I had nothing in my mailbox. I called the post office and found out that the card was mailed by USCIS to the WRONG address! I went to check in at the address where they sent it and the lady swore she didn’t get anything. Called USCIS and they told me I’d have to fill out a new 765 for a replacement card. Totally unacceptable as the address error was on their end! My current one expires at the end of the month and will probably need to take a break from working, which stinks right before the holidays. Our interview is on the 19th so really hoping we get an approval soon after. Anyone from Chicago have their interview already and were approved? How long did it take for approval after interview?

this is such a headache, very disappointed with the morons over at USCIS. I have gotten every other piece of mail regarding my case, not sure how they messed up the address on the EAD. The most important thing up to this point, UGH.

First off,  thank you to this forum and community. I have learned all of our AOS filing and my wife's transition here to the states from these forum. We had good news in that our AOS processing was approved and Green Card sent in 5 months. When we first applied all of the estimates for AOS approval was estimated to take close o a year, and  EAD AP approval estimates is December, 2019 or  January 2020.

We were very anxious and had to change some plans due to this estimate but at this point, we are just thankful that my wife received her Greencard last week, the first week of November after our End of October Interview. The overall lesson we can impart is to not make any travel plans until you get your AP aproved.

The process seems to have gotten faster and we are very grateful, Thanks again to all here.

No time frame as it depends on where you live and how busy the local office is.   Could be a few weeks to more than a year

YMMV

Spoke to 2 reps today about our RFE
First rep couldn’t access the RFE for some reason, but based on what I told him he said it didn’t make sense. Second rep could only see the letter I was sent and nothing more, also doesn’t understand it but because it came from a field office he cant really answer our queries, and wouldn’t you know it, you can’t contact field offices 😡

Beyond frustrated 😕

Maybe they lost your document and want another one? I don't think there is anything wrong with what you sent. Sorry to hear this. 😰

Good luck

We’re convinced that’s what happened.

Fun fact: I called the office where USCIS send you for a medical where I live, the lady I spoke to said this keeps happening lately, people have in date medical’s and are made get a new one. They don’t understand it and can’t get an answer from the field office as to why they are putting people in this position.

Submitted an e-request on the officers advice, the earliest reply will be December 4th so we just scheduled to redo it in the morning. If any one is interviewing in Nashville, bring your medical with you and insist they take a copy of it so you don’t end up in our position.

thank you for you’re reply!

Other question- has anyone’s EAD been moved to Lees Summit, MO without them being informed?! Another fun fact i discovered this morning, ours has been,  we can’t check the processing time because that office isn’t an option, I swear, we’ve had the worst luck through this entire process 😕

Everyone's EAD who is adjusting via the i485 is done at NBC in Lee's Summit and yes you can check the process time on the website .  Currently 5 5 to 7.5 months

We just received ours on Saturday

YMMV

Thank you for that, head like a sieve with the morning I’ve had, I thought the NBC was in Chicago.
So glad you got yours!

Chicago is just an application intake facility that then assigns to a service center

YMMV
