From what I have gathered from the VJ posts, Case number in 5-6 weeks happens for all other service centers (Texas, Potomac, Nebraska) except California Service Center. For CSC, the file stays with them for 6-8 weeks, if not more and then the NVC wait follows. I know that @bishnup, @Mrs. RiRi G and myself are in the same boat. I don't see many CSC candidates here in this thread..

Thanks for letting us know! Don't know what to expect from CSC. Already crossed 6 weeks. The wait :(

Hello. Have anyone faced a problem with "Secure Connection Failed" when trying to resubmit a document?

I had to replace my joint sponsor i-864 but I can't upload it. Whenever I try to upload the document, it has this connection failed problem, in every single browser. I tried on different computers and different networks, still the same.

I find it weird that they asked me to resubmit the document but its status is still set to "submitted" and not other status like "incomplete" or whatever, so I can't really delete it or anything. In the case, I tried to submit a new additional document and then I got the error. Does anyone have an idea on what I should do?

Thank you.

Yes you are right ammy. And i also noticed from csc they won’t update the status that your petition is transferred to NVC

I just contacted USCIS and they stated that my approved case is still in there possession 😓 and it can take up to 90 days before they send it to the NVC. This makes absolutely no sense to me these people are heartless! Geez, they don't even take into consideration how people misses there loved ones. 😫

My was approved in December and I did not receive my case information until February.  I think that it is working a little faster now.  Mine was happening during the time the government was shut down also so I am not sure if they were working to their full potential then.  Be patient. It will happen.  it has been a long road but the end result will be so beautiful and well worth the wait.  Abundant blessings to you.
