What document? Ours is just W2 of joint sponsor’s husband. Hopefully they review fast coz it’s just one piece. 🙏🏽

Had to resubmit Police certificate without any reason! Previously uploaded PCC with both page scanned clearly showing the seal and NVC is saying they cannot found the seal. Called NVC and they advised to resubmit it again :(! And NVC wants some other doc (country specific doc)  under Beneficiary Marriage certificate tab which I had uploaded under others. AOS  and other docs are accepted! So, I submitted 2018 Tax return (Not 2018 transcript as unavailable that time), W2 (under others) & 2017 Transcript (under others) which they accepted! Best of luck!

When you scan the documents for financial documents. Do you break down by year or by type. So should the file be uploaded as 2018 tax return transcript & W2 or should the file be separated as 2018 transcript and then another file for W2?

U upload each file type separately

2018 tax return transcript

W2 ... u can pm so I show u wt I mean

2.  2018 W2

3.  2017 tax transcript

4.  2017 W2

The W2 and 1040 are two different types of forms. So you will need to upload the W2 separately under additional documents.

When we file our taxes, included in the Tax Return is the schedules, supporting tax documents, worksheets, and associated forms. Do NOT include any of these things with the 1040 form. Add the additional forms included in your Return (if any) under additional documents.

When uploading your your tax return nothing should be a included with the 1040. Anything that does not say 1040 needs to be uploaded separately.

Hope that helps.

This is also true for the transcript. Do not attach anything to the transcript. Upload everything as separate documents  (e.g., W2)

right so did you upload them all as separate files by year? because you have to submit 3 year worth correct?

What is the file size limit for uploading documents. I am trying to have everything ready to go for the next step.

You only need to submit 3 years or w-2 i only submitted latest w-2

keep all the documents seprate.

2018, 17, 16 tax transcript combine the files and upload it as one in tax drop down

All w-2 in one  the size limit is 2MB.

in case  any of your file is over 2mb use pds compressor to compress the file and it will bring it down to less than 2 MB
