I submitted documents yesterday and this morning I see accepted in status

does that mean case complete? Or I have to wait for a message from NVC

Wow that’s fast! All documents are accepted?

I’m suprised

that’s what I saw as I opened the ceac website

What time yesterday did you submit? If possible eastern time.

Also if you have time, can you please update your timeline. Thank you! Just so we wont keep asking your submission date. 😁

that happened to me too, no you have to wait for the message. all of mine is accepted. and still they asking for more W2 and still they asking for more W2 so I have to resubmitted all again and make a note letting them know  that is every W2 form.

so I have to wait again well 3 weeks again

When you scan the documents for financial documents. Do you break down by year or by type. So should the file be uploaded as 2018 tax return transcript & W2 or should the file be separated as 2018 transcript and then another file for W2?

The W2 and 1040 are two different types of forms. So you will need to upload the W2 separately under additional documents.

When we file our taxes, included in the Tax Return is the schedules, supporting tax documents, worksheets, and associated forms. Do NOT include any of these things with the 1040 form. Add the additional forms included in your Return (if any) under additional documents.

When uploading your your tax return nothing should be a included with the 1040. Anything that does not say 1040 needs to be uploaded separately.

Hope that helps.

This is also true for the transcript. Do not attach anything to the transcript. Upload everything as separate documents  (e.g., W2)
