Your welcome. I think the only thing is when you submit your tax return you need to submit your W2s with it.  you can actually just bring copies of the tax return and W2 forms... but if you feel better doing the transcipts you can do that too.

Make sure you submit tax return transcript for the year 2018.

Form 1040 & W2 is not enough.

including myself, there are many other members Form 1040 have been rejected. They asked for Tax return transcript.

SO if you don't want to waste another few weeks in re-submission review, make sure you upload TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPT.

Good day! I am not sure if I am supposed to be here because I am petitioning for my dad which is an IR-5 but I have been following this thread for quite some time now. I just want to get clarification because for the affidavit of support, I turned in the tax transcripts from the IRS for 2018, and the ones for 2017 and 2016 and my W-2s for the three years I placed in the supporting documents section. Everything was accepted, except the I-864EZ itself which is another story, but I have been seeing here that people get their tax transcripts delivered in the mail. What I did is I went to the IRS website, downloaded the tax transcripts that I needed, and uploaded it to ceac website. I am just wondering if I need to have the tax transcripts  delivered as well for my dad to bring to the interview when it comes time. Or is enough to bring the downloaded tax transcripts off of IRS website?

I am seeing a lot of people here having their tax transcripts delivered so I am wondering if that is the right way to do it even though my transcripts were accepted. I just do not want my dad to experience any bumps during the interview day. I filed my taxes probably around April 4-5, then I downloaded the transcripts April 9th this year. I do not know if that makes any difference. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi All! Received our NVC email this morning, hooray! Was able to log in immediately and access the "Fee" tab and complete payments for both the IV Application and and AOS, but the tab to access that is grayed out. Has anybody had this happen? Do we just need to wait? I am anxious to get my documents submitted!

Omg this is insane, we sent our i130 on jan 11, we got potomac, you guys and us are on the same schedule.

Yes, my case was expedited during USCIS sorry I forgot to mention... so I sent NVC and email once they received it on 04/29..with my USCIS receipt number and request an expedite to be sent to consular/embassy or if an application is required first, if I could get a case number.. they responded two days later that my request was under review and then today I had the welcome letter email with my case number.

Welcome! I see your interview will be in Colombia. My husband is Colombian and I was born there as well but grew up in Seattle. We have been living in Brazil for the last 3 years as our jobs transferred us here (our interview will be in Brazil). I am currently sponsoring him as I am a US citizen.

I heard that the Colombian embassy in Bogota is also handling immigrant visas from Venezuela as the embassy in Caracas is now closed. I wonder how is this affecting the interview dates availability.

That's awesome! And I wonder the same, so far I have still seen then interview a month out but I'm sure that will be changing with time.

I believe it depends who in the NVC reviews your documents. As I submitted my 1040s with my W2 and I got an RFE asking for the actual transcript.

No it does not.  they are to except either one.  I just asked Liz the attorney handling are case.

For me and others in this forum they required us to submit transcripts. Again I submitted my 1040s and W2 and got an RFE asking for transcript. When I called the NVC I was told that they no longer accept tax returns.....
