Thanks everyone I was so concern because it was literally one page I had to submit but I’m glad everything is complete and I’m one step closer to my husband being here .

He qualifies for a ir1 Visa as well

Congrats! May I know what type of document you resubmitted? Resubmitted April 17 (just removed the W2 that was included in the tax return), no update yet for us.

Hey it was technically a request for additional documents . For my financial records I sent 2018 transcripts , employee compensation letter . NVC Requested I send my 2018 w2 which was legit one form

Hopefully! I’ve been seeing CCs of people who resubmitted after us. It was just that part. We had to upload the Tax return without the W2 in it because our attorney uploaded them together. It’s 3 weeks this Wednesday. 😔

Can someone kindly clarify for me. I thought nvc didnt accept tax returns just tax transcripts from the irs. Or do they take either or?

I believe they are no longer accepting the Tax Returns (1040) themselves and are requesting the transcripts now. My sister in law has her interview today and the consulate emailed her two weeks ago saying they will no longer accept the 1040s.

To me they accepted both its depend on NVC whoever review it and is ok with it they accepted it and if they not ok with it then they ask for transcript.

that is how I see it.

they rejected some and they accepted some not all.

But when you go for the interview ya better have the transcript.
