Thank you for quick response, Yes my mom works. And my dad and mine income is very enough because I have CC already.

If u have cc already thn dont bring ur mom in this case. Keep her away. Because if u submit her forms they will ask for her birth certificate, ur relationship with her and all proofs. This elongates the process.

Since u already have CC. Dont submit anything unless they tell u. Just bring her additional i864a form for mom to ur interview. Dont give it to the officer unless they ask for or unless they say u dont need meet the income requirement. Then u go like i have extra support, heres the form. Also, bring her birth certificate, marriage certificate, ur birth certificate to show proof of income if they ask u for additional support form. Other thn that u are fine.

dont submit anything. I would suggest u take it to the interview just in case.

Thank you! And also did you guys scan the front and back of the birth certificate and marriage certificate.

My wife birth certifcate has a seal in the front but Is blank in the back. How ever the institution logo is engraved in the paper

but marriage certificate has no seal but logo logo is engraved in the paper and visible from the back .

Just scan the front paper of nadra nikkah document. Dont scan the back page if there is  nothing written on it.

If its the urdu nikkah nama, i dont think u are supposed to scan that. They need the english one only. We did for my husband too.

I’m applying for my husband in Bangladesh and our nikah documents were in Bengali. The website says if documents are not in English both native language documents and English translations are needed for uploading. Just wanted to put that out there. Maybe to avoid any problems in the future. ☺️

Household member is a person living in the same household as u and is trying to help u meet the poverty guidelines to sponsor an immigrant if u dont earn enough.  For this u fill I-864A form. I did this cuz my dad helped me meet the guidelines to sponsor my husband.

But a joint sponsor is someone who doesnt live with u, but is trying to help u meet the guidelines by helping u meet the poverty guidelines.

What situation applies to u?

thank you so much. i appreciate it. I will be using a household member it seems, my mother will be helping me out and of course, we live in the same household.

Thanks for the info. But I have found that this info posted by them is not really accurate. Some people get reviewed within days, some within weeks and some take even longer. I saw already a case here of someone that resubmitted on May 1st (you hehehe) and already got CC.

is someone still having issues uploading documents to nvc?

I was trying to upload on May 2 and took the whole day to upload only 1 document. Called NVC and they told, they had some technical issue. I don't know still they are having the same. Keep trying to upload periodically (after an hour or two). Hopefully you will be able to upload it.

I was thinking of getting my medical done right when we get our case number from NVC, since the medical is valid for 6 months.

Is this even possible, or should I wait?

I do have all the documents ready to upload online for the next step.

Online it says that they will send my medical results to the embassy (mine is Stockholm), but at this point they will not have received anything with my case yet, I assume.

So is this even possible?
