All except for 1 of our documents were accepted today, apparently my passport photo was not the 'right' side up... 🙁

So far I have been very happy about the fact that we hired a lawyer to  help us with this process but now it is VERY frustrating to have to wait the whole weekend for her to resubmit my passport photo page and end up at the bottom of the pile again.. I just want to do it myself right now! But at least it was a minor thing and we did not receive a checklist! Yay!

By the way: the documents were submitted April 26th so I was not expecting to hear anything yet

If you have it then you can upload it yourself. Not sure if you have multiples of the same photo

3 weeks will be May 8 I think. Idk. All they tell us is to call back May 9 if we don’t hear any update. It’s just frustrating they make us wait 3 weeks for a single document to be reviewed. ☹️

I hear you. I hate to go through another weekend with no news. At this point I wished there were no weekends so there is no pause for the NVC to review cases 😂

I resubmitted on April 25th so not sure when we will hear back 😔

The waiting is terrible! 😬 But keep in mind that we are almost there!!

I think it really depends on the country and maybe even if it is a K1 or a CR1/IR1?

Hello everyone.

I just got my NOA2 last week, and is curios to know how the next steps look.

Where do you check if you got a case number from NVC?

(I know there it take weeks)

And do you get an email when the case is sent to NVC.

And when do i get the login for CEAC, which is for paying the fee's and uploading documents later on?

Ur case status shld say “sent to department of State “ which means ur case has been sent to nvc .. if it dsnt change .. u can still call nvc after 2-3weeks n find out if they have ur approved petition from uscis because u won’t be notified, u have to call.. if dey do , u will be told the date it was received n it will take btn 4-8weeks for nvc to email u a case n invoice number to login to ceac then u can pay the fees n upload docs
