I got our interview date today.  It is in late June.  I'm happy to finally have the date in hand, but also somewhat disappointed as i was hoping for it to be in early to mid June. 

 

CC Date: March 20

Interview Date: Late June

Embassi: Mumbai

did any one know what to do next after we get appointment? Mumbai Embassy

 

do you need to take biometric appointment or nvc already schedules automatically? if you need to take appointment then do you need take it day off or same day as appointment?

 

Good Luck who ever got interview dates and stay strong people who didn't recieved appointment yet because you will get interview date soon.

you dont need pd to be current in F2A and visa is available all the time

No. You have to book your medical and biometrics on your own. Some panel hospitals require you to fill out details online and they get back to you with the medical date whereas some others you need to call to get an appointment. To book your biometrics, go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com create an account and book your biometrics appointment.

i did create my account and it is asking for which day to take appointment so do i need to take one day in advance or i can take in same day as interview.

Do not take it on the same day as your interview. You can do it any day after receiving the interview letter but atleast a day before the interview.

So if its monday i have interview then friday is fine right ? or thursday ?

You can even do it tomorrow if you like. I did mine a month before my interview when I went for my medical. Thursday, Friday any day before the interview is fine.

Well check how long the doctor needs to complete your medical report. That varies. You have to call them and ask. If they say they need 10 days before you can have the result then schedule it 10 days or 11 days at least before interview. You cant say take it a day before if it takes them 2-3 days to prepare the result.
