And did they accept it? It is also my problem now. The note says pls upload all W2 form in Cristina’s Tax return (she files jointly). They are only asking for W2 of her spouse again. I was on the phone with NVC but internet cut me off lol

I'm a little confused.  Who is Christina?  You got an RFE?

Cristina is our JS. She is married. They file together. So everything was ACCEPTED including the W2 of cristina but there was a note saying this (pls see pic)

And so we called multiple times. They are saying W2 of the husband because his name is in the TAX return obviously because they filed together. Idk why they need his income. If they want to see Cristina’s income if it meets the required income, then it is all in her W2 right? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am not sure.

In my case, my joint sponsor was my uncle. He files taxes jointly with his wife (aka my aunt). My aunt makes 0 income though, so they didn't need to see any of her w-2 forms because she does not have any as she makes 0 income.

My JS filled jointly with his wife, they wrote the same thing to me, I submitted both his and his wife W2 that amount the money in the transcript. But I put it in one file.

May I ask, how long did it take them again to check the added W2? Did you get case complete after? Thank you

We sent everything to our attorney and they were the one who uploaded them. We don’t know what was uploaded. They (attorney) are confusing us! My husband called NVC multiple times to make sure what exactly they needed. Most of them are rude. One was nice to say we need the W2 of the other person that appears in the Tax return (JS filed jointly). I just dont know if we upload this, will we get another rejection or note again after 3 weeks? 😑

Omg! Theres got to be some way. The attorneys dont knw or kept a record of what they uploaded so they can let u knw.

Lol! When my husband called them yesterday of what W2 and what year they uploaded, they said let me check. And when i confronted them because this is all their fault from the beginning, of course you cant argue with an attorney. They try to turn things around and make it seem our fault.  So many things about this process they didn't help us with and 2 delays because of them. When they learned we called NVC, she said she doesnt like too many people calling NVC and we shld let them handle it! What the?! This is our case and first of all, they were never on top of this because ifthey were, they should know every detail of it. So they have two options, submit 2018 tax return plus W2 or submit both W2s 2017 of JS AND her spouse. They chose the first option! I told them multiple times that our JS is filing late! Why do they want that? They were not paying attention to what we were telling them before. I even asked them this last December-  “Our JS files jointly, do we need anything from the spouse? The attorney said, no. So now after 6wks and  2x RFE, we are getting a msg that we need the JS spouse W2 and possibly another 3 weeks of waiting. Arent they supposed to know about this possibility before? They are immigration lawyers. Im sure they know or it’s just they dont care of our application after paying full amount.
