How do we know when the embassy recieve the petition from NVC? Do we call the embassy or NVC? And also can i request from the embassy for a faster interview date? I will be visiting my husband May 31 til June 11. During that time its his bd 6-3, mines 6-8 and anniversary 6-6 it would awesome to have the interview while im there.

If you call NVC they will be able to give you information if your petition has been sent or not but it will be much easier to track it directly on ceac. When it's sent off from NVC the status will usually say "in transit". That way you will avoid being on hold with NVC for over half an hour.

You can try to request them to prepone the interview. Nobody can confirm if it will be accepted or not but there is no harm in trying.

I hope and pray that you are able to be there with your husband during that time.  I want to bring my husband back when I go in June also.  I plan on going June 21 so I pray he has an interview before so we can all come home together.  I am believing with you that it will happen this week, by God's grace and mercy.  Many blessings.

Yeah, I don't know.

It seems like they issue interview dates all at once on certain days.  Like on the spreadsheet i see so many 4/16's.   So, hopefully one of these days happens soon for the March CC'ers
