I am in similar situation. NVC sent my approved petition to Ghana embassy in early april. Still waiting to hear from them. I decided to go ahead and schedule an interview despite not hearing from them based on the msg below i received after visiting the NVC website

I am still stuck in between scheduling my interview or not. Someone posted the pack 3 here on the site . Third instruction says you will

need your payment receipt to schedule the interview. I think we will need to wait for the instructions to pay our visa fees and use the receipt to schedule the interview. It’s so frustrating at this point .

I read on their website only applicants who have been directed or contacted by the Embassy are required to schedule the interview. It’s frustrating. I really don’t know what to do at this point. I wish someone knows the right procedure .

Go to the bank and make payment and book your appointment, they are almost closing July and they will move to August. Some people waited for 9 months and never got p3 so they eventually went and they were approved. Some waited for 5 months and beyond without P3. You already know your case is ready for interview. I have taken the risk to boom my appointment although p3 hasn't been mailed to me.

Yeah I heard they gonna turn you away if they haven’t contacted you. I called the visa service desk and they told me not to schedule if I don’t want any errors during my interview. It’s just frustrating..

Hello, i'm new and i've been learning a lot so thanks for being transparent. My petition was also sent in early april and i wanted to know what the interview dates looked like. i'll be paying my visa fee this week and hopefully, hear back by the end of next week from the embassy.  I just wanted to know if there are enough interview dates or if they are few, as well as how far away the closest date is

I have read on here if you go to the interview without receiving the packet three they send you back and have to reschedule it. Some people plan their interview well in advance so that they receive it before the interview but you are right, its a gamble.

I second this matter , I been sent back before when I scheduled my interview date before receiving the package three from the NVC. So please beaware about it , you have to wait for your package three before scheduling your interview.

Anyone who didn't yet get his/her package three should look maybe they didn't updated their DS-260 , they should do so and they will get package three to enable them schedule their visa interview.

I scheduled my appointment dates in early April, at that time, June dates were available. At this time, u may be looking at July dates n possibly August. Is it a gamble but I still don’t regret it. We will see how it turns out.

Well I wish you luck , I don't call it gamble , because we were told like you been saying now , but it turns to be something different after we had spent almost three good months waiting for us to attend our interview and be disappointed by a lady in the US Embassy in Ghana for us to reschedule an interview appointment again.
