Hi all,

I've tried searching the site and everything seems outdated. Question is as above, how long roughly does it take for the P3 to arrive by mail once the NVC has forwarded my case to the embassy and they've received it?

Just so I can time booking my interview with having actually received P3 because it's my understanding i don't really need it.

Thank you!!

Your procedure depends on what embassy you are processing through.

This is a general forum though. You will likely find the correct answer for your particular embassy in your regional forum.

Normally you would use the "tags" to post it there yourself but now that it's posted you will need it to be moved.

State your embassy and confirm your Visa category please.

Hey so P3 for me, our case arrived at London on the 15th January, I receive 'P3' on the 19th Jan. However it contains barely anything worthwhile. I can type it up for you if you like :)

I also receive another one a few weeks later too...exactly the same just dated different.

Another UK soon to be Michigander also! :D

I had my interview last week and received my visa today and I’ve never received a P3 so I wouldn’t worry about waiting for it as you don’t need it, the embassy will email you everything once you’ve booked the interview.
