My husband and I are both wondering what kinds of questions do they ask in the interview? We have our interview tomorrow in Portland, OR.

Is it the standard "How did you two meet?", "How long have you been together?" etc. etc.

A friend of mine had his AOS  last month and all that was asked was "how did you save your spouse's name in your phone". After the answer was given, the officer asked for his phone and asked for him to unlock it. Browsed through the contacts and that was it... approved. Goodluck to you, just be natural and knowing your partner's habits is the key.

Hi! So my husband's interview is scheduled next month. The officer at the airport took his medical documents upon entering the US (he comPleted his medical in Manila on Oct 2018). I was wondering if he needs to complete a new medical for next month's interview? I do not know if they forwarded his medical document at the airport where they took it to the office where the interview will take place.

They should have the medical exam within government files. I do not believe you need to complete a new medical exam. Best of luck!!

Thank you so much!! No they did the interview with both of us and asked questions like “when/where did you get married?” “How long have you been married?” “Where did you both meet?” and then a run through of current address, if we had kids and my birthday. It was really nerve wracking just because I always get nervous about huge stuff but the guy was nice and was trying to make conversation, that helped a bit. Just be honest and know your spouse and all will be well :)))

How did they pass the security check with phones ? Do they let them to take their phones with them ?

FWIW, at the San Jose USCIS Office, no phones for biometrics, and  phones are fine for interviews.  The layout of the office biometrics to the left and interviews to the right.  My N-400 appointment was 4 hours late so a phone was good to have.
