It takes time to gather such a large amount of information to provide for your answer. In the future a little courtesy would go along way.

I don't have a financial stake in this website, but I'm connected because I care enough to give back to others such as you. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

I have a dumb question...

I am a widower. Fiance is a widow.

Fiance is bringing the proof of her spouse's death (same proof USCIS accepted) to her interview.

Does she also need to bring a copy of my wife's death certificate?

I had a divorce and lost my second wife and I sent both documents (divorce and death certificate) to the interview in the event it was asked for. Sending a copy via email should be OK.

Yes definitely in case they ask her about it even though it's in your file give her a copy.

I asked  that same question last year and researched it. In the legal arena  a stamped signature of a judge is  100% valid same as a hand written one. I was worried  also because  my decree had only a stamped  signature of the judge. It was fine I got no RFE for it. Many people submit a stamped  signature with no problems. As long  as you submitted the ENTIRE decree your fine. I might add the original on file at the court house will always have a signature not stamp.

When you get settled in, can you scan a copy of your P3 from your embassy and provide a copy to me. I don't have a copy and would like to share with others. Would be a good jester on your part to give back to a community that helped you along the way.  All the best and safe travels.
