Medical passed! Interview booked for the 1st August!!
Woooo

Wahoo!! Congrats! Best of luck for your interview next week! How do you know you passed the medical? Do they tell you on the day? I always thought the results were sent to the embassy and we were told then If all was okay? 🙂

My fiancee's interview was today (well, last night for us in America) and she's been approved. Now we wait for her passport with visa to be returned. Despite a certain member basically wishing me bad luck, everything worked out perfectly. This was for Vietnam and she was asked the following 3 questions....

1. Where did you meet?

2. What does he do for work?

3. Has he come to visit you?

I front loaded a reasonable amount, and she came documentation out the wazoo, in the end they didn't ask for any of it. Those of you still waiting, I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah they do send it all over. When I went they were like "If you haven't heard from us in a few days then everything is probably all good" Plus I was told on the day everything was fine. It would just be if my blood came back with anything.

Awesome news! My fiance interviews tomorrow. Medical was today and it went well. We also frontloaded and he has a binder to carry with him. I'm sure we're overprepared -but we think we're ready for anything they could possibly ask for. Wishing speedy approvals and a smooth process for everyone!

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

Simple solution: Just ask at the conclusion of the exam.

The questions will be centered around the relationship. So the questions will be geared toward that. Interviews are easy in most embassies as long as you can "prove" to them that you have a genuine relationship and the proof is normally in the answer to the questions they may ask.

I've listed some of the interview questions here:

Good luck on the rest of your visa journey.

My visa was approved on 16 july2019. I received my passport with the visa stamp today 22july2019. My flight is on 25July2019.

Be sure look over carefully your visa to insure that the correct spelling appears. Also, if you are going to stop in Manila to see family and then onto the US you will be required to have the CFO class completed prior to exiting the PI.

We don't know, most of us are from other embassy's so I doubt we will be able to help. Track down some others from your embassy and ask for their help. Select your flag and it will populate a new page whereupon there is a way of finding others from your country. Oh BTW, did you send an email to the embassy with your case number, your full names and birth dates.

Yah so there are not that many people from where my fiancé is from on here, but I’ll give it a try.

And yah I had all that information in the subject of the email and in the body of the email as well.

Some embassies do not ask for the financials.  The Philippines hasn't asked in 3 years but for a few they do. No explanation as to why.  CEAC won't change for 24 hours. Relax your toes are on the finish line.  Congratulations.

My interview was July 25th (got approved) and as of this morning my CEAC still says 'No Status' when I entered using my DS160 confirmation. I wonder how long does the update usually happens after interview?

Have you tried non-immigrant as your status? Just my guess is your to early for the issuance of your Visa.  JMHO
