I was wondering the same thing. This thread has gotten quiet lately. Lol. You can search the timelines and see approvals. Our interview is next Wednesday. Hopefully all goes well!

The thread for Panama is pretty dead too.

We're waiting to be assigned an interview date as well.

Other than that, we have to get police reports and the medical appointment completed and we are good to go.  Praying for a 7/31 interview date.

We got our interview today  and we got approved!!! However, the CO never asked for our I-134 and the CEAC hasn't changed yet

Some embassies do not ask for the financials.  The Philippines hasn't asked in 3 years but for a few they do. No explanation as to why.  CEAC won't change for 24 hours. Relax your toes are on the finish line.  Congratulations.

I had my interview 2 weeks ago and still waiting in Administrative Processing. They hadn't gotten my medical results yet by the time of interview. Feeling real impatient but I'm crossing my fingers for an approval any day now. :)

Congratulations! I'm surprised to hear that about the I-134. (Meanwhile I'm sitting here wondering if my fiance would be asked for his 2018 tax return info at the interview to prove he's law-abiding & filed/paid taxes while here on J-1 visa last year. Sounds irrelevant when I say it out loud.)

I wouldn't chance whether you embassy will do the same and not require a I-134 as there are just a few who haven't asked. If I were a betting man, I would say hers is an anomaly and the CO just forgot to collect the information. I could be wrong but she hasn't received the visa yet so there is still more time for the CO to issue a 221(g) asking for the information. If that's the case she can just send it in for the CO's review.

Thanks, sorry that my post was confusing. I'm the petitioner and he has the I-134 and tax docs from me. My fiance is the beneficiary. I was saying HE wants to take HIS tax return info & payment receipt to prove he didn't neglect his tax obligations last year. ...I don't think the consulate cares or would ask for that... I haven't ever found that as an issue on visa journey.

The only time that I have seen where the beneficiary's income was used and excepted (which it is not a requirement normally they will not take it from the beneficiary) was when they had over 6 figure bank account in liquid cash. If you as the petitioner meet the requirements then their isn't a worry and all will go fine for you. Keep in mind your mileage may vary.
